I am almost certain no Irish retailers sell them.

Strength shop in Scotland sell them though.

Cheers, yeah contacted them alright, put me in touch with their european site, looking over 240 with the shipping, tempted by getting through US or Canada, but would prob get screwed on duty once delivered to my door

Really? I would have thought they would deal with Irish orders through their .co.uk site.

Here's another place you could try

Cheers for that, I've sent them an email looking for shipping prices, Im resound to the fact that they'll cost an arm and a leg but Im sick of bare feet for squats, and tried a friends romaleos on and found them great.

Wherever you get them, consider them an investment in that sense that as long as you don't abuse them, you'll never need more.

If they add a lot on for delivery to the Republic parcel motel offer a UK delivery address and then ship it to your nearest parcel motel for a couple of euro. Very good service if there is a site near you

Thats weird, the European site tells you to order from .co.uk if you are in Ireland.

Yeah thought the same, I seen somewhere that they'd be shipped from main warehouse in scotland so I thought surely Ill order from the uk site but turns out we go through the euro one.

Gymratz got back to me with a quote of 230/240 euro depending on color, and of course the black and grey for 230 would have to be all gone in size 9.5

Bodybuilding.com's EU shop might have them.

Nothing there, cheers though, contacted rogue europe in Finland, there all out at the moment, and not taken risk on ordering from any US company due to possible duty charges once they arrive. Gymratz are being very helpful with my queries so il prob go with them.

Make sure there gonna ship stuff from their European storehouse. You have to go into the live chat function and ask them.

Didn't know that tbh, would there postage be much?

Well I ordered some stuff during their Black Friday sale. I assumed it would be coming from Europe as I was using the Irish store page and many items were listed as "unavailable in the Irish store". Any how bought fat grips and 6 tubs of Amino build which is a basic amino drink. Normally I have zero interest in pre workout stuff but this was on sale. So think in total it was 80 euro for 6 tubs (30 serving tubs) and fat grips and a free shaker. Shipping was 24 euro but then I saw it was to be delivered from the Fecking states. So 46 days later it arrives with 27 euro customs.

Now if you can use the live chat and find some stuff available from Europe then the site would be handy as they always have "buy one get one free" deals and there shouldn't be any customs on stuff bought within the EU, I think?

    Try Rogue Europe.

Why one of the most expensive weightlifting shoes out there? Adidas go for less.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 188 ✭✭DJW11

Rogue Europe all sold out, no reason only tried the cheaper adidas version and found the nike more comfortable from some dudes at the gym I was using, i assumed the nike was priced similar, shows how much i know about it. But now knowing how much the nike costs Im ok with it, they are a investment, Ive never tried the adipower priced similar to the nike but since I havnt tried them personally I go with the romaleos.

friend told me a story about when he was in a coffee shop in New York, guy beside him in the Q is wearing romaleos, says " wow nice Romaleos, do you do crossfit or O lift?"

Reply - "emm no i just liked the colour and they made me feel taller".

Please god you o lift and squat regularly

Well, I went with the romaleos, got them from rogue in the US, had them sent over by my girlfriend's family, so got them for 140 euros. For anyone buying them, I wear a UK10 in runners and everything else, went with a UK9.5, and there perfect.

The second insole for competition is harder and gives a tighter fit but still not tight so I'm delighted I went a half size down.

After reading all the reviews and watch the clipsI was expecting them to be heavier, but honestly there no heavier than your standard boot.

Went with the red, it's metallic but not as bright as the adipowers.

Sitting here in a squat the last 20mins and it's bliss. Now back to lifting.
