well what car do ye hate the most. for me its the Toyota avensis.
I think its the fact that nearly every taxi has one. if out a night my friends think im mad when I will jump into the taxi that has a different car even if hes last in the rank. sat in a Renault fluence last week. it was nice for a change although it was a high spec model.

I always had a gra for those, from a distance though. Big solid car. Thought there'd be a lot worse out there.
    Were they bad ie unreliable?

Nissan note 06-13 model. Usually driven by imbeciles who seem oblivious to all other traffic especially those stuck behind!

Know someone has one and swears by it! Extremely economical to run and reliable. They are a workhorse van at the end of the day.

    Nissan Tida.

I was behind a particularly bad example today. It had both an L plate and a baby on board sign. There was a mother driving and a baby in the back. The mother spent about 40% of the time turned around with her arm stretched back to the baby

Obviously Im not a fan of anything "japanese" predominantly found on irish roads today.I think everyone who isnt a taxi driver would agree.

VAG and german cars are starting to annoy me a lot lately, I think its just that there are so many on the roads now that im getting horribly tired of them.A4's and 520's mostly.

Also the facelifted, facelifted (2012?) Golf, the back is awful compared to the one before.

Had forgotten about that yoke. Awful car. Designed and built for the 3rd world. But somehow we got it here.

Yeah the Tida is a shocking looking thing. And to think it replaced a thoroughly decent car in the Almera.

Nissan took a big step backwards with that one.

    I think there's a perception of the person -
People carriers: parents dropping offspring to school - oblivious to others and rules of the road
Yaris/Toyota etc : nuns cars-very cautious, never overtake- ever!
SUVs: Bought by husbands, but driven by (some) women who passed their test in the Yaris (mentioned above), but bit challenged by SUV!
And the Long bonnet type (usually rushing to work, and usually husband of SUV)- that think it's ok to stick half their car out over the line before they can turn left!

    Complete generalisation.........no offence intended

Ah no more trouble than any Citroen around then, they just rub me the wrong way, dull and a bit sort of meh just stick four doors on n sell it sorta thing.

I can agree with the earlier post about the doblos bein ugly, but in my exp they are one hell of a reliable van!!

Torn between the fiat 500 or the figgaro , both tiny overpriced heaps driven exclusivley by girls that deepthroated their way through passing the junior cert, or lads that want their gender to hipster

    I'm choosing more than one.
    - Nissan Juke (my number one choice) / Ti'ida / Micra / Almera. Hoped that when Renault took over Nissan, that we'd get French design and Japanese execution. No we got Japanese design and French execution :(
    - SSangyong Rodius / Musso. They might have Merc engines, but it's the small diesel truck engine not the car engines. Rough ugly design.
    - Current French cars, given their reliability issues, and difficulty of working on them compared to the German marques.

(I perfectly understand it's a personal opinion thing, and each to their own.)

Another Toyota hater here. Like most cars the majority of the Irish public tend to love, they're just so dull and boring.

They're followed closely by Skoda. I get the love for Skoda. They're a really sensible choice. So it's exactly why I hate them. Ugly, dull, boring and sensible.
