46 was an OK score yesterday (although I still dropped 2k in the rankings), but after all the points coming from the Spurs game I'm expecting a fairly hefty drop tonight. I got rid of Yaya for Silva as I needed the cash to fund the Aguero transfer. I had a choice to get rid of Adebayor or Lukaku. Yep...

Expect red arrows tonight! Either that or you're so far down the rankings that 46 is a good score compared to those around you!

Those transfers make a bit more sense in that context. At least aguero came on for such a nice cameo right? Plus in the long run it'll probably save you transfer money and get you more points from aguero. Wait for Lukaku's return before judging it too much. I doubt too many people have Ade so it shouldn't hurt TOO badly.

62 points, will be getting some BPs from Ade as well. Thought that I'd get more than 4 points from Hazard & Welbeck :/ Coleman left to play tomorrow!

Raf was very very lucky not to get a red for that tackle. Felt the Vidic red was a bit harsh though.

Either way, one or the other was going to be sent off. Just a shame that it had to be Vidic.

Everton are coming to the end of their nice fixture run. Spurs are on a bit of an up.
Lukaku for Aguero was my move.

I also think I'll be getting rid of Coleman within the month.

Think Everton will falter on the run in.

(I should prob head out and back them for the win tomorrow now)

With Cech my only coverage in that game I'll take that.
Ade & Erik saved the day.

Can't say i agree with that.
Villa, palace, west ham, cardiff, swansea are their next home games.

Their away games are very tough i'll grant you but they've been performing consistently well against everyone this season.

Yip they have decent home games but they're against teams that are fighting relegation and will be tough battles.
That and the fact that Martinez is inexperienced in this position makes me think they'll slowdown now.
He may continue to perform and that'd be gutting but I think the money from Coleman will be better invested in a defender from a stronger team for the run in.

I also need some differentials and think that this is a low risk one.

I'm giving serious consideration to bringing in Baines for Coleman. Penalties, free kicks, bonus points magnet

72 points after the Adebayor show. Coleman and Ridgewell left for tomorrow

That's fair enough, though I personally don't buy the 'relegation battlers fighting harder' argument as stastically they tend to do pretty much as poorly in the second half of the season as they do in the first. The gulf between the top half and the bottom half is more pronounced this season than ever imo, and I think Everton will push on and keep in touch with 4th (maybe narrowly miss out) rather than falter.

I'd wish you luck with it but shall most likely keep Coleman and thus don't can't! :pac:

I did cringe with the "relegation battlers" bit ;)
    I wasn't 100% on the move...but I suppose I'm committed to it now :)

50 with Coleman to play :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,369 ✭✭✭the incredible pudding

    50 isn't bad at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Yes it is. Not as bad as my 48 mind, but still bad. I reckon anything below 60 will be red arrows if you are at a decent level in the rankings.

44 with Coleman to play. Disaster of a GW, only one player scored and he didn't even start.

Shipping out Yaya and Eriksen was a big mistake.

Check this out - 36 with just Coleman left.

70 with Coleman to play, delighted Hazard did nothing.Januzaj was United's best threat but a pity nobody else was on his wavelength today.I think he's a keeper in my team as nobody else has his ability in the United midifield at the minute.

Yeah think I'm going to bring him in for Gerrard. Gerrard has done well in the last 2 weeks, but he's playing a deeper role and has only gotten his 2 goals recently due to penalties.

Same as you...Januzaj for the money is definitely a keeper for me. 68 points with Baines left to play tomorrow night. I shipped out Coleman and brought in Baines and he scored from the penalty spot straight away. He's a lot of money to tie up in defence but from set pieces and penalties, the possible bonus points and their next 5 home games looking favourable he'll definitely be featuring in my team for the foreseeable future. My only disappointments this week were Sterling and Negredo but it didn't turn out so bad in the end.

42(minus4) my worse week in a longtime not Coleman left to play, this week has killed me.

Eriksen has now received a bonus point. Keep twisting that knife FPL!

On 60, with Coleman left to play. Not exactly worth celebrating, but I'm expecting to hold onto a place in the 20ks.
