Gonna be a tough game, wasnt expecting much against Southampton recently, so with a few lads back from injury, i feel we may get the 3 points.
    2-1 win.
    Bobby with the 2!.

Spurs to win both teams to score 7/2
You can get Soldado to score two or more at 9/1

I like this bet again. It should be a good game. Swansea play attacking football, so we should have our chances...... but so will they.

Good man Devo, 100% record with match threads I was hoping you'd start this one!

fancy us to scrape it by 1 goal in a 2-3 thriller.
cant see us keeping a clean sheet with walker and rose starting but hopefully they prove me wrong:)

Not too worried about Naughton playing in his natural position. He's not as good as Walker but should be good enough.

If Sandro plays I'll be more confident of the win.

We could be fourth if we win tomorrow. Liverpool behind to Villa at moment and Everyon playing Monday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,994 ✭✭✭KingdomYid

It would be great to get the win tomorrow as Liverpool and Everton play each other next, and the fact we play City at home next makes tomorrow very important.

    Team for tomorrow maybe

    Hugo
    Walker----Vlad---Dawson---Rose
    Lennon---Sandro--Dembele--Eriksen
    Adebayor---Soldado

I also think there will be goals. Four or more. Could be very close. Swansea have not being getting results lately but are not playing badly. Like Davy said, hope we can scrape this one. Wouldn't put the house on it though.

Paddy Power giving money back offer on Correct Score, First/last goalscorer and scorecast if match ends in a draw. Not just Spurs game on all prem games this w.end.

The Swansea team..... not very strong.

Tremmel, Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies, Amat, Britton, Shelvey, Pozuelo, Routledge, Bony.

    Bentaleb starts.

@SpursOfficial: Team news: Lloris, Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Rose, Eriksen, Bentaleb, Dembele, Chadli, Lennon, Adebayor #COYS

@SpursOfficial: Subs: Friedel, Naughton, Holtby, Soldado, Capoue, Defoe, Sigurdsson

    No Sandro at all..

Looks like Eriksen is given a free role, can only presume Soldado is injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,932 ✭✭✭SuprSi

Soldado injured or just given the boot for his poor performances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,749 ✭✭✭irishmover

He's on the bench so wouldn't be injured just dropped, and rightly so too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,467 ✭✭✭mushykeogh

Bony is a strong unit, will cause Dawson serious problems. A forward loaded midfield, numbers are there but would have rather seen capoue in there, but we will see how it works out. A win would be massive considering yesterdays result.

We should win this, look more relaxed away from home. The team/bench looks really strong minus Vertonghen. Nice rotation, yeah Bobby needed a rest...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 609 ✭✭✭Left Back on the Bench

You'd wonder why he didn't go with this formation against the gooners

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 345 ✭✭curraghyid

Swansea are beatable if the ball is moved fast avoiding there packed midfield, 2-1 away win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Interesting stat - Capoue undoubtedly has outstanding defensive ability. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index shows that he has won an impressive 70% of his challenges this term, and also made a solid 22 interceptions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Asleep at the back, well done Lloris.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

What sort of defending was that from Vlad?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,932 ✭✭✭SuprSi

    Great run by Erkisen

Chadli and bentaleb need to wake up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

A Swansea fan on SSN so not sure how much salt needed when listening to him he keeps going on about Swansea being on top but all the shots are 25-30 yards out.

Anyone able to enlighten me further?

Chadli blew a great chance there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,290 ✭✭✭Leinstersqspur

Great ball from Eriksen, certainly against the run of play! COYS

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Plenty of goals in this, kill them off now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 365 ✭✭Jason 5pu45

In all my life looking at spurs,I can't remember a player getting as many starts
and playing so poor yet keeps getting starts.I hope he proves me wrong but I think he's awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Eriksen is starting to run the show, who needs Modric.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,058 ✭✭✭tippspur

Adebeyor,Eriksen and Vlad in great form today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 609 ✭✭✭Left Back on the Bench

We shouldve tacked on another before half time. That goal has deflated Swansea. We should press them more, they're making mistakes at the back. We were only good after we scored though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,944 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Looked pretty comfortable in the 1st half, unless we gift them a goal then we should win this comfortably. Dawson needs a swift kick up the hole, his decision making at times is farcical.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,284 ✭✭✭DubPerryman

I say it every week but Eriksen's intelligent movement makes him stand out a mile. He's starting to add goals and assists in recent weeks, great to see!

I'd take Chadli off and put Soldado on. There's more goals there, but I just don't have faith in Chadli.
