I'm looking at moving on a RR genoa that I rarely use, and is in pretty decent condition. Anyone know how I might go about putting a ballpark fair figure on this. I had a quick look on Apolloduck , but couldn't see sails for, er, sale.

I'm assuming RR is roller reefing?

Do you know who made the sail? A quick email to the maker would get you an estimate for a new one, you could work down from that.

Otherwise, a clue as to the size of the boat (and hence the sail!) might help - I wouldn't have a clue myself (I only know what ours cost) but there's a whole lotta knowledge in this forum :)

    Cheers HH.

Yes it's roller reefing. I'll dig it out later to get details but it is a large genoa for a corribee. Not new, but in decent condition.
I have no idea what it might be worth, but I have a surplus of head sails, and need a new engine, so was looking at moving it on.

check out some of the small british sailmakers they sell second hand sails on some of the sites and gives prices and sizes. Find a similar size might give you an idea. Think Jeckells might do seconds and maybe saturn sails.
