Has anyone here used or heard anything about bodytec? They have a branch in Camden Street and one in Stillorgan now too. They use EMS to increase the intensity of the workout and claim that 20 minutes there is equivalent to 2 hours in the gym. Has anyone had any experience with it?

2 hours in the gym doing what, exactly?

Their research does not give the stats for any control group.

Sounds to me like the new vibroplate type fad.

EMS stands for “Electro Muscular Stimulation”. From a technical point of view, it is a full body training exercise using impulse current.

Smoke and mirrors. Wouldn't go near it.
