Don't think so. They had a meet the brewer a few weeks ago and it was the same American guy that I met last year

So, why is no one talking about White Hag's Session IPA?

Best Irish session beer on the market.

    Murders Metalman and Grand Stretch.
Damn right. Aroma is beautiful, flavour is on the money. 2.49 a bottle at least in the SCR Next Door :)

Having the last of the 24 I got from them for doing the linked finance lending. It's a really nice beer and is definitely making it onto my list of regulars.

I ended up throwing that Red IPA down the sink. I just couldn't finish it. Looking at the bottle it's down as 4.7%. I remember it being stronger and rate beer has it as 6.8 from last year. Maybe I just got a dud bottle but it could be that the recipe change isn't doing it any favours.

Sierra Nevada Blindfold Black IPA, the colour of stout & intense flavours of a classic American IPA...

Is it as described above, or are the darker malts bringing anything to the table other than colour?

The hop oil really seems to make a difference in this, intensely hoppy but not too bitter.

I liked it, although I thought it was more of a hopped Porter than a full on BIPA.

I thought Blindfold was possibly the least IPA-like of any black IPA I've tasted. It's a very nice porter though.

Thornbridge Jaipur X - How they pack so many percentage points into such a refreshing, fruity beer that is almost entirely devoid of bitterness - one of life's great mysteries.

I found Jaipur X to be sickly sweet and quite boozy

If by unreal you mean tastes like remarkably little, then yes.

New Firestone Walker beers are in the shops! Got mine from Redmonds: Pivo Pils, Double Jack, Pale 31 and DBA

Also stocked are Succaba & Stickee Monkee bombers for 30€ each but didn't go for them....

Double Jack is excellent. Dry, resinous, piney. Not too boozy. If Jaipur X is what I hate in DIPA's, this is what I love about them...9.5% so quite dangerous.

I tried that a few weeks back in a friends, I bought the pack of four it definitely didn't taste of nothing. It stank like nail polish remover and tasted worse. I was raging I bought the 4!

I thought the €28 price tags for a couple of them were typos on Drinkstore. Obviously not.

The other ones were at a decent price. Unfortunately I picked up a big order yesterday so the new stuff might have to wait. Might...........
