Adidas.ie sale found on the athletics gear forum.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=88453051#post88453051

Most things I looked at were 50% off. Delivery is free for orders of 150 or higher, otherwise it's a fiver.

Got me some nice new running shoes for e56 which would have been over 120 in the local shop.

Follow the instructions on the original thread.

Thanks OP - thats another 200 on the credit card but seriously, how come the range is not available in shops here? Some of the basketball boots and jackets are fab, hence could not resist!!!!!!

Was just speaking to Adidas.ie rep they are having problems with their system. I'd advise everyone to steer clear until they have it sorted. At the moment i have 4 "shadow" payments withdrawn from my account but my bank are insisting one went through even though i never got a confirmation

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,832 ✭✭✭Bawnmore

Thanks OP - made an order yesterday with no issues.

Place an order yesterday. Got an error about the payment method but received an order confirmation therefore i did not re-enter the payment details again. Will keep an eye on my CC statement to see if the payment was processed okay as no withdrawals are visible atm.

I paid by paypal and it seemed to go through ok.

Myabe paypall is the way to go while these system errors are occurring. The adidas dude told me it was only effecting ireland and that not everyone was affected

I had the same problem, contacted Adidas & they said it was the banks security syatem. The bank confirmed there was no problem. Adidas website was stating payment not processed, try again, as a result we received a security call from the credit card company and we have 3 authorisations pending with paypal. Adidas reply was
" We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service from the adidas Online Shop and thank you for your feedback. We are committed to offering you the best possible service. We did everything we could to help you based on the information that we had in our systems.
The authorizations will be cancelled within seven days."

I paid with Paypal successfully too, so seems like it's just bank payments affected alright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 488 ✭✭soc

It's definitely not a bank issue as payments were authorised on my cc both directly through bank and PayPal ( you can see payment waiting for collection from merchant). Problem is with Adidas. In my case, it would get payment authorised but not actually take payment, and order not being created. Right pain as shoes I wanted to get are now put of stock

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,187 ✭✭✭jones

Yeah i agree i had to order again and it went through perfectly but i now have 4 other orders on my account that the funds still havent been released...apartently it takes 3-5 working days to release the funds

    FYI

I was delighted to see this sale and hurried on line to see what i could get. Ordered 2 pairs of trainers for a total of 90 euro. payment made, confirmation of order, eagerly awaited delivery....

Following day I got an email from adidias....

"Occasionally, due to the high demand for certain products and the amount of orders being placed at any one time, it is not possible to maintain an accurate record of the stock levels in our online shop resulting in us being unable to fulfill some orders. We regret to advise that this was the case for your order. Consequently your order has been cancelled." (refunded)

they offered me 20% discount on my next purchase (valid for 14 days and not to be used in conjunction with any other offers) that's 5% more than the discount offered to first time registers.

I am p***ed with this and would just like my order fulfilled. Told em so but haven't heard back yet...

Got my order delivered fairly promptly. The Sonic Boost running shoes are great, admittedly my first proper running shoes but I love them.

Pretty happy with the service, it was pretty painless for me.

Cheers OP, ordered runners last night and were shipped this morning. For comparison, the same pair were €63 + €5 delivery on this BA. Amazon had them at £79.

Good stuff to be had alright. Had an order cancelled last week. Got in touch with them and got the 30% discount code to be used within 2 months. Ordered a pile of stuff last night and shipped today too.

Free delivery on returns, I checked before I bought for the same reason.

This was only a data collection and I tell you why, me and 5 other members of my family placed an order each and believe it or not all six orders were cancelled because they had system issues.

Payments were all processed for all six orders. I've replied to their email with a formal complaint so awaiting their reply, in the meantime I'll never buy again from this site.

I received my order in full & in decent time so you must have been unlucky.

Did you pay by card or paypal?

I paid by paypal and had no issues.

If this is the case all six of us were unlucky, all six orders were paid by Paypal.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,429 ✭✭✭Kenjataimu

Someone at the start of the thread were told they were having issues alright.

I doubt it was data collection though, more likely they ballsed up their system.

You should try getting a decent discount code off them at least.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 702 ✭✭✭rgfuller

I also ordered on the 14th, but unfortunately the order did not make it into their "order management system" even though the payment via paypal did, though it is marked as still outstanding, I phoned (on the freephone number) and they confirmed the system issue.

They will cancel the pending paypal payment and give me a 20% discount code for the inconvenience.

The items from my order were still in my cart (though now out of stock).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 170 ✭✭ftlnn

I had issues also see my earlier post...

I contacted them by phone, they told me they were out of stock, but in front of me online I had the pair of trainers that I ordered, same size and style. Pointed it out to the guy on the phone. He said it might have been returned stock. Still eager to order I phoned the number on the website, only to be told they cant accept orders from Ireland because of a secure payment issue. What a PITH. I have ordered again through the website and am hoping for success this time. Probably should have stood firm but prices like this are impossible to come by.

I just ordered a pair of those Sonic boost red runners and a hoodie....so nearly a ton dropped. Don't know whether to thank or curse the OP on this as I'll have to really get running now, no more excuses!
We'll see how the delivery goes

Got my sonics today. Word of advice though they are narrow so maybe better to go with size larger than you normally would wear.

Thanks, but went for my usual size as don't have a 'big/wide' foot so should be ok
