Plenty of odds on pokes Un de sceax faces a good handicapper might get a better idea of how good he is,first race in navan is a two horse race rest have no chance will see how they price up the meade and mullins horses in the morning

In the 3.20 Kelso Lucinda Russell has an ex irish pointer making its debut over 2m,ISLAND HEIGHTS.might be too short this trip but should be a big price, running against a load of flat rejects wont have to be too good to win this and is worth a bet,3rd horse came out of his point and has very strong point form so bit of substance there,7/1 on bf now so should be big enough tomorrow.

@Urban the brother to War of attrition is out againt tomorrow over a shorter trip in navan only up a pound and booby mcnally taken off for robbie power is a big plus, lot of deadwood in the race 8s have been taken 7s now will probably have a few quid on.

A dreadful card at Wolves tomorrow but one stand out is Persian Pyramid in the 1.00 This is a horse that's hit some form since it switched yards and was very unlucky not to win lto when trying to make all at Lingers. Tomorrow's race is weak and I would also expect the horse to get an uncontested lead which will make him very hard to stop especially if the pieces straighten him out a bit. Cadeaux Pearl would appear to be the only other horse handicapped to win but I'm not at all sure about his attitude towards racing anymore and for me this horse the most likely winner and should be a bit shorter in the betting come off time... Just my thoughts and Good luck.

Camden George in the 2.50 could
Be worth a punt with sue smiths horses in such great form. An Old boy but down
The weights big time now...this could
    Be a plot at 10-1

having a nice bet on chancol in the first..the mullins horse could be anything but the form of chancol looks good with western boy's second to vautour the other day..

"Just your thoughts" have been the same as three separate users on another forum. How bizarre is that?? Not just the same but the exact same. The last of which is a very good friend off mine. You are clearly an attention seeker, on a horse racing internet forum, for what reason I do not know?
    Regards,
    Me

Keep up the great work with the horses the Forum is brilliant.

Don't be too sure about flaxen flare placing. Elliott is shrewd and today's run could be all about under performing for a handicap.

Un De Sceaux should be winning this by 30L, anything else will be disappointing.

Today's race is another waste of time..he'll win easily and we'll learn nothing. End of January is when we'll know more

Kelso off, liked the Sue Smith horse as well :(

I got a bit of word for Mad Brian and have taken all the 9/10 available at Boils. Reckon it goes off much shorter before the off.

Also have Carmack in the first apprentices race at Wolves. To me it looks like the new trainer has been doing all he could to try and get the horse back down to a winnable mark. Reckon the 5f trip and having Eoin Doyle onboard (one of the better apprentices imho) means they are down for business today. 16/1 a very nice price.

Flaxen flare a non runner,Another hack around for Un De Sceaux I have a funnny feeling this lad wont be anywhere near cheltenham come march going too softy softy with him.

Kiliney court in the first race is a serious handicap plot in the making dont know how they werent brought in the last day another hack around today in order I'd say,Aklan should make the running in the first interesting if Chancol can get by him, still havent made my mind up.

I did a double thataboy wolves/Milsean Navan. While I had thataboy already picked out this am, met a lad that I know in the bookie and he gave me a tip he said he got for thataboy maybe I should have just backed him on his own but I'm greedy :) . He's 2/1 and I'm not sure about quality of info but I said I'd pass on the tip.

With Dascomb mopping up plenty of poor all weather races recently both Trinityelitedotcom 5/2 and Thataboy 9/4 are nicely priced to have an investment at Wolverhampton. The ground at Navan today will be a bog and that will suit Aklan who won a decent Listed race at Roscommon beating a St Ledger 2nd[neck] in the process. He is a 3m mile horse but this a poor race with McLovin[know a fair bit about]needing far better ground,The Engineer not run for ages,Meades out of form and Oscar Vespasian having to concede weight to the fav.20/1 for small money would be Oscar Vespasian as he is race fit and will go on the ground.Milsean in the bumper is a very good mover so the ground is totally against him but he is smart.Meade has 2nd fav but is by the shocking Scorpion .Watching race but Mullins should win even on this ground.Follow the Sign 2.10 for Oliver McKiernan 14/1 has a lot of weight and is a horse to follow if money arrives. There is no doubt he will be winning races and this is not a very strong contest.

If he doesn't appear in the Irish champion hurdle then I'd be pretty
sure he won't be going anywhere near Prestbury park. If they don't go the chelt route it's a farce. They could wrap him up until next year and then he slip in the yard and be out of the game...they should take their chance

Ended up going with Chancol here at the prices 7/4 in a match, wont surprise me if AKLAN wins half the track but im not a fan of flat rejects so ill let him win small bet on meades 7/4.

Given that his first progeny have just turned 5 and his pedigree / race performances indicate that his offspring would be mostly stamina orientated, would it not be a bit early to judge him. Surely his offspring would be more suited to 3m than 2m

Yes that is what breeders are now hoping for but they are showing nothing so far.Put Westener up against him and there is no contest. In the long run maybe at 7 yrs plus he may show something but unsuspecting owners will have huge bills waiting that long and some were so slow/thick that they are ......

I wonder will they put Un De Sceaux in the Schweppes at Newbury?

EDIT: Likely to head for the Red Mills. Always suspected that he wouldn't go to Leopardstown.

Listening to Mullins interview I thought it was a bit funny he said ''IF'' he goes to cheltenham that the champion is the only race he can go to,if he was definitely going he wouldnt have said ''IF'' imo.

Foildubh tried to go with UDS. Akatara just hacked around. It was always a likely outcome.

Davy Russell also seemed fairly certain that UDS wouldn't be going to CH in his column yesterday too. Up in the air by looks of it.

Mullins is a crafty clown if he doesn't send him...not fair on owners..doesn't want to run him against hurricane fly probably keep other owners happy.
Sending him to the red mills Taking softy softy approach wouldn't do him any favours. Then sending him to Prestbury having to travel, in a large field surrounded by all the chaos of Cheltenham. Sounds to me like there minds are already made up. A crime on the owners who have probably been convinced to wait until next year..he could get injured in his box in August and his career could be over

Yeah im a clown alright, akatara finishes in front of a horse rated about 3 stone better than it how much did you have on the forcast, foildubh was 10s on w/o so I wouldnt say it always going to happen.

Un de Sceax will be in his box when Cheltenham is on I think, and if it his then it kind of tells you how high they rate him that they dont want to run the risk of him beating the darling HF or AP.

Side with Sole Witness on the day's sole jumps card

    Sole Witness
    3.10 Navan
    1pt win at 6-1 generally

With Kelso off, Navan is the only jumps meeting left and it could be worth backing Sole Witness in the Grade C Foxrock Handicap Chase, writes Tom Segal.

Sole Witness loves the track and goes extremely well on soft ground too. He is only 2lb higher than when an easy winner over course and distance last season and he has run well in two more competitive races than today's one recently.

Both of those efforts came on a much sounder surface than he faces this afternoon and better can be expected back under more suitable conditions.

4 something I think, foildubh paid the price for going with the winner braindead ride from carberry and I'd no bet, would have had my shirt on the distance bet but couldnt find one presume powers had one in shops.

Horse is an absolute machine but he still showed to be a bit green at times. No way will he have the experience for a chelt champ hurdle. If they put him in the Irish champ hurdle he would come on leaps and bounds but dont think id be in favour of that if I was the owners. Rather still let him take his time but think he'll have to miss cheltenham this year for his own good.

Don't understand this guff about missing Cheltenham "for his own good". The horse knows how to race only one way and will run exactly the same whether that's at Cheltenham or Clonmel. Ruby's on record as saying he's very hard on himself whatever the race so if anything the stronger pace and bigger field of a CH could be the making of him. Not saying he'll win but you only get one chance to have a potential Champion Hurdle horse. Owners would be crazy not to take it.
