    I use "Optimum Nutrition" and I find it pretty good. Look out for bargains in Holland and Barrett or Elverys. I got 2 for the price of one Gold Standard 100% whey.

    Myprotein is probably the best place to start for value. Personally for taste I use PHD. Maximuscle is good but does not go down as easy as PHD and is expensive compared to some others which are equally as good.

    Have you worked out your requirement for protein intake per day?

    Get what's cheap, does what you want and is tasty. No need for anything overly expensive. My protein have 5kg for 70odd euro.

    If I could afford it all the time, I'd use Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard. I like the flavours and it has other nutrients in it as well. Also, it's supporting Irish business. As I can't though, I use MyProtein as it's so cheap.

    for what its worth... if you don't care too much about fancy flavours, packaging or additives this one is most likely the simplest, cheap(ish), purest and best digestible of all proteins I've found to date across the board.

    Not fond of their name, logo, website nor even their packaging, and I get it via amazon {cheapest} // hopefully my local stockist will hear of it soon!

    Reasonto recommend is for the following IMPORTANT factors:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1. grass fed (cows are designed by nature to eat grass ONLY).
    2. hormone free (no gm or oddities goes in to the cows).
    3. Cold processed, ultra filtered, undenatured.
    4. Unflavoured natural taste (add your own)
    5. No added sugar, artificial flavours, sweeteners, colours, fillers or binders.
    6. 82% protein.
    has good reviews...
    Needless to say, probably don't need me to tell you of some recent reports regarding soya protien, and the big trend in the US towards healthier 'grass-fed' milk gm/h free products and even the re-emergence of unpasteurised products (amongst the raw lifestylers).
    ps. Those fancy shinny branded protein chocolate bars loaded with suclarose, fructose and even aspartame(google it.) make me churn, how/why would someone eat that junk.
