I don`t think so. I got laser done, I should have been wearing glasses beforehand but I didn`t.

Depends on the individual. I know someone who has to wear glasses for a year all the time before he can have the surgery. He never wore glasses despite needing to. I think he has eye strain.

    Go in for a consultation.

some place require that your prescription hasn't changed in 1 year, I never wore glass but badly need them so I bought some and got surgery done the next week

Where did you go to get your eyes done? I'm thinking somewhere like the beacon or blackrock is where I'd probably go. I don't know why but I just think it would be better to go somewhere like that for something major like eye surgery.

Thanks again for all the responses, I really appreciate it.

I went to one of the cheaper places for a consulation and they were happy to do the job straight away (Lasik)

I went to the mater then and they said I wasn`t suitable for Lasik better to do Lasek.

Although significantly more expensive (parents paid :pac:) felt it was better service.
