Smokers who say "I'd never smoke around kids" but it's absolutely fine to pollute the lungs of an adult with chronic asthma, like me!

Go stand somewhere else if you dont like it. What really annoys me is peoples arrogance to suggest that someone should have to change their habits to suit others. Go jump. Go inside anywhere, your not glued to smokers!

What is it about everything being a "challenge" these days anyway? If someone wants to be a fat wanker then they're not going to get too excited about ideas like "the insanity challenge" or "the no fap challenge"...

Fcuking Americans, how about "the 'stop making out you have it sooo hard' challenge"...

Second time today, I'm struggling with the 'sarcastic prick' challenge - "Nothing is my fault"...

I robbed that from "the personal responsibility challenge", clearly I'm also struggling with "the kleptomania challenge".

Yeah. I remember when all this was fields. Now it's all furkan underground car-parking and generous open-plan living spaces and BMW Minis for the wife/golf-clubs/King Charles spaniel/all-of-the-above and sushi and Knobnominate and I-don't-know-whatall.

I'm a smoker, and I wouldn't expect anyone of any age to put up with my foul exhaust. Or cigarette-smoke! :D

My point is that smoking was banned in "the workplace", which is generally inside areas. There are plenty of other place that person can go. Il be dammed if someone thinks im going to stop smoking because they have come along.

**** who come on boards to give out about fat people, who gives a fcuk, if people want to eat themselves into an early grave well let them, what is it to you if they eat pizzas or chocolate or a half stone of spuds with a pound of butter, mind your own business you nosy prick
Also if they annoy you so much with the noise they make while they eat their lunch in the office canteen, tell them , you'll feel better for it and then you might not seen like a broken record every time you start up the old laptoperoonie

More obesity costs money for the HSE, simply put.

Hopefully next time you are on a bus, flight, seat in which you might encounter the public mr buttermunch sits down beside you.

It matters when you're sitting next to a fat person on a bus that doesn't make allowances for three people between two seats. Now IMO that's all fine if she's a hot tubthumper like say, Adele, she can sit on my lap if she wants (actually I regretted that a couple of times too tbh, like when a fat girl asks can she go up on your shoulders at a Bon Jovi concert, say no, because while it's great for the first two minutes to have her thighs wrapped around your ears, two hours later she's not getting any lighter up there while every bone and muscle in your body is crying out for mercy, but nobody can hear your muffled screams due to her oversized thighs!), but if she's got a face like a week old bucket of KFC chicken (what am I saying, like it'd last that long!), I'm afraid she's gonna have to go on the roof rack. It's for her own good you understand, but make sure she's tied down securely so she doesn't roll off onto the bonnet of the car behind...

Would you say they cost more or less than smokers ? Their doesn't ever seen to be as much debate about smokers, alcoholics or druggies.

If you ever work up the willpower to actually quit, you might notice that even the faintest whiff of a cigarette from a passerby threatens to turn your stomach inside out. It's horrible, utterly horrible. And the only way you'll realize that is to become an ex-smoker. If that day ever comes, you might be more sympathetic and understanding of our 'arrogance', because you'll see it for what it actually is - poison.

Things that annoy me - smokers who try to justify or defend their behavioral addiction!

Cigarettes and alcohol have huge tax on them. I remember reading that smokers dont cost the HSE money. Not sure about alcohol though.

Thats a possibility but the logic used makes sense. Smokers pay a lot in tax and tend to die younger. I'm afraid we'll have to use math to get anything exact.

Driving a borrowed car and pull up at petrol pump and filler is at wrong side even though you thought you guessed right.

This didn't annoy me, but here goes...I was in the lift today at work. There was another person in it with a food container, with a fairly strong smell from it. They departed the floor ahead of mine. There was someone waiting on my floor to take the lift. I am sure they were wondering what was the whiff in the lift :D

What sort of smell was it?

Interesting reading, essentially you have just proven that people who smoke and/or obese are actually beneficial to a country's economic stability, they don't live as long, spend more on food and cigarettes contributing to taxes and cost LESS to taxpayers in terms of health care, in summation, obesity doesn't cost the HSE more as claimed in your earlier post.

People who leap into the middle of otherwise entertaining and/or useful threads with yet another Rambo-eqsue crusade about smokers/gays/fatties/one-legged Ethiopian female diabetics with abandonment issues. Buggeroffoutovvit!!!

Some cars, not sure if its all these days, have a small triangle on its side next to the fuel/petrol pump symbol on the dashboard

example ( a bit too big so linked)
    http://myarchive.us/richc/2010/Why-didnt-I-know-this-before-now_119F9/whichsidethegascapison.jpg

the direction the triangle points indicates which side of the car is the filler cap
