I would be going for one of the online packages. IMO the price for Tas or sage is a rip off and you can only access these from one computer or network them which leads to other problems. I use www.surfaccounts.com which is 100% Irish and brilliant

Thanks a lot viztopia... I have been checking Sage 50 out and yeah not being able to have multiple users is a big draw back.

This online option looks really good. Would finance companies and banks look favourably on using this online option ? Have you had any experience with that ?

you can have multiple users on Sage line 50.

I think it depends on what you want out of the package. Line 50 is where it is for a reason.

I use it everyday and althought expensive to buy its an expense to write off and customer service is normally fairly good.

Paul. Banks really don't care about what package you use. They care more about the accuracy of the information and it's realibility. I just think the whole idea of have also software on one computer is redundant at this stage (while acknowledging that you can network packages) there is also a package called xero which has an app and I have heard good things about sort my books. If you google it you should find it. Try an get an Irish package if you can as some of the other ones have issues I've vat etc.
