Plenty of decent options this week (*).

Of course Suarez can't be ignored. Same with the Man City attacking threats: Negredo, Silva, Yaya.

Then, fixture-wise, Spurs' Adebayor and Eriksen are tempting, Lukaku would be if he was not in a downfall of form and Rooney would be top of the list if he was not injured or doubtful or whatever knock he carries... Well, Welbeck could be a good one week punt but like the Arsenal lads (Ozil, Cazorla, Podolski) this "differential" captain is too risky in my opinion.

Talking about differentials if you're brave and wild you can try your chance with Berbatov .

Considering form now, you could give the armband to Chelsea midfielders Hazard or Oscar or Southampton "stars" Lallana or J. Rodriguez.

Have gone for Suarez but as a Pool fan I have my doubts. We have a terrible record there (have not won in 5), plus Stoke actually have an impressive home record this season, particularly against some of the top sides.

He's the obvious non-Suarez choice. Home to Norwich. His last home game he scored 9pts with Suarez only getting 5, Walcott 6. I captained him that week and I'll captain him this week.

I'm at a complete loss as to who to captain this week.

Viable options are - Hazard, Ozil, Silva, Suarez, Adebayor, Lukaku and I have Coleman as the wildcard captain. (maybe it's finally time to pull the trigger on Coleman :pac:)

Ozil - Very tempted to hand it to him as Villa have been shipped a lot of goals at home this season against strong opposition.

Lukaku - Same deal with Norwich's away form, they're leaking goals against the better sides.

Adebayor - Crystal Palace are likely to park the bus imo, this could be 1-0 affair or it could be goals galore like we saw when they were away to Liverpool.

Maybe I should just take the safe route and go with Suarez...

Hazard and Silva are at the bottom of my list.

I think i leave it with Adebayor, and then check the poll at 11:27 on Saturday morning to see who is on the top. We all know Suarez will be on the top so i will change it to Suarez and win either way.

Thinking the same, he was a good buy and with all the faith i have in Suarez he might want to take 1 or 2 more games off. You can't run riot all the time - leave it to someone else for once Luis;)
Crystal Palace at home with a rebuilt, very attacking Spurs is a tasty fixture..

I had been 100% for Suarez, but this thread has me seriously considering Lukaku.

Yeah they're missing those 2 alright. It's hard to tell really as my gut is telling me it could be quite low-scoring if any goals at all. Bennett is rather rash and Martin isn't really a CB so Lukaku may get some joy against whoever fills in at CB. However Norwich have gotten more clean sheets away from home than at carrow road along well as the spankings.

Lukaku is always a gamble no matter what the opposition. It depends on whether Everton get an early goal or not, but we don't have that luxury :pac: I have Lukaku and I haven't really considered him. I'd be shocked if it turned into the shellacking that they got a Liverpool and City is about as much as I could really predict.

I'm not sure if that has helped in anyway at all but I wouldn't be against the idea of captaining him as I think once Tettey returns in a week or two then Norwich will be a lot more solid and it could be one last chance for teams to really run riot against them.

Was talking to my Everton correspondent there and he was not enthusiastic either, in fact he said I should sell Lukaku to fck. Mind you he also said I should captain Coleman!
