MEngSc UCC or MEng DCU

    Hi all,

    I see there is a past post regarding the masters in DCU but zero about the MEngSc in UCC.

    I am currently studying (my ass off) for Beng(Hons) Electronic Engineering and am positive about getting a 1.1.
    I will be looking to do either masters part-time as I am currently working. My job at the moment involves telecommunications (level 7 standard) so I'm thinking DCU.

    However, I am living in Cork. I'm just curious has anybody completed either of them, and if so, how did they find it? I imagine 2 years progressing through a masters could possibly disconnect you from the outside world :)

    Both websites state that the courses can be undertaken part-time.

    I also imagine the career prospects after completing either programme to be quite different...
