Maybe you got married (or divorced!), or got a new job, maybe you lost some weight or moved in to your first home.

Not a whole lot major happened in my life, but I did manage to quit smoking which I am delighted with.

    Whats yours?

I got promoted to manager. The hard work paid off. It's a really nice feeling.

    Bring on 2014. :)

Besides the losing weight or getting a job, I don't see how the others in your list are achievements.

Can't think of anything I've achieved really, besides getting my new job, but it's so **** I don't know that I'd call it an achievement.

Lost 12 kg - (about 2 stone), in the last 6-7 months, hope to lose 15 kg - ( about 2.5 stone) this year, get down to a decent weight. Slow and steady, no mad rush and not interested in yo-yo diets. :)

Also got over losing a very good friend to a new mega-possessive boyfriend, we were very close for several years, now I rarely hear or see from her, but she's made her bed and she can lie in it.

Got pregnant and didn't lose the baby after the disaster of losing 2 last year.

I lost about 2 stone so I've made a good dent in the 6 I want to lose overall. And I finally dealt with my depression, I'm not drowning in a sea of anxiety or sadness anymore.

2014 won't know what hit it.

Not a goddamn thing, utterly bland year for me. If you put Duggy 2012 beside Duggy 2013 you'd tell no difference.

Well......maybe a sneaky grin on Duggy 2013 because he knows how Breaking Bad ends.

Hit the 1000 thanks mark few days ago. Didn't go mad though. Just a glass of champagne and some After Eights.

Worked myself to the bone for it, but I'm delighted with it. Going to do similar again this year.

Got a recognition award that only 15 others in my area of expertise have worldwide. I'm also the first Irish person to get it.

Completed a certification exam on something I hadn't even used before last year.

Have been offered a new job with a great salary and the possibility to work part of the year in Ireland and the other part in a Sunny Climate...

Also some personal goals reached. When I was moving to America there were three things I wanted to do. 1.) See Don Rickles perform 2.) See Chuck Berry perform 3.) Visit the Waving Bears....still haven't seen Chuck Berry, but crossed off the other two this year.

Anybody wondering what the Waving Bears are (I saw them on YouTube and was determined to see them in person):

    Can't ask for more really.

Graduated from college and started a post-grad degree. The eternal student!

Nah, not really, it was a huge decision to stay on for the Masters, I'd much prefer to be earning money somewhere nice but then again, that's what 2014 is for!

Mind you, I've slipped again in the last week and a half with all the Christmas drinking, so that's me covered for this thread and the New Year resolution one. :D

Got a first class honours in my degree (something which had seemed almost impossible based on my previous results) without having to quit my part-time job or Taekwon-do. :) Now if only I knew what to do with it... :v

After a lot of hard work I finally raced a car. Much blood sweat and tears

I also had to stand in front of a church and bid farewell to my dad so 2013 can go **** itself :-)
