I have used hardwareversand.de and was very impressed with them. Altogether mine cost just under €850 including building and shipping. You just add all of your items into the shopping cart and there should be an option for them to build it for €20. If memory serves me, it took less than a week from when I ordered it to when I got it.

As for the machine, I am getting decent performance. At the moment I am playing Assassins Creed:BF and its on ultra settings with no problems.

    The parts i ordered were:

    RAM: 8GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz CL9
    MB:ASRock Z77 Extreme4, Sockel 1155, ATX
Power: be quiet! Pure Power L7 BQT
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Windforce 2X, 2GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Box, LGA1155
    Optical: LG GH24NS bare schwarz
Wireless Card: LogiLink Wireless LAN 300 Mbps PCI Karte 802.11n 2T2R
    HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s
Case: Sharkoon T9 Value red edition, ohne Netzteil

I don't know if that helps.

You can change the language to English. A bank transfer is really very simple. They give you all the details you just have to pop into the bank and tell them what you wanna do and they'll do it for you.

    Item|Price
    8GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance blau PC3-12800U CL9|€73.47
    ASRock Z87 Pro4, Sockel 1150, ATX|€87.27
Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB SATA 6Gb/s|€83.31
    WD Blue 1TB 6Gb's|€49.26
Corsair Carbide Series 300R, ATX, ohne Netzteil|€65.96
    MSI N760 TwinFrozr 2GD5/OC, 2GB DDR5|€217.89
Corsair CX Series Modular CX600M, 600W|€62.89
    Intel Core i5-4670 Box, LGA1150|€182.37
    Shipping|€18.99
    Total|€841.41

That case isn't available on Hardwareversand so I've stuck with this cool side-window one!

Just add building for only 5euro and they'll sort it.

    What browser are you using?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,767 ✭✭✭SterlingArcher

I wouldn't recommend going ivy bridge. I'm going to guess this was a mistake on your part just testing the script as you selected a haswell mobo.

Haswell is the latest generation of Intel cpus. Ivy Bridge was the previous technology. Just a look at the name of the product for Haswell or 4th generation and you're alright.

If you pick a CPU that is "haswell" latest 2013 Intel CPU ( I5 4670) you need to get a haswell motherboard 1150.

If you got an "ivy" I5 2012 CPU (3560) you need an ivy motherboard.

Haswell is the latest and better choice as the motherboard 1150 will also work for the future 2014 broadwell CPU. Meaning if you wanted to get a new CPU next year you just pop old one out and put new one in.

Anyway hope this cleared it up a lil.
just post your build and double check parts here before any purchase.

    Two things.

Firstly, there's no PSU in your build. You need a PSU!

    Secondly, there's this;

Although hardwareversand.de can build it for you, it'll be sent via couriers, and by the time you get it, the parts may be loose, and there has been a lot of threads here about people getting machines with some problem or other :(

You're better of building yourself. In the unlikely case that something should go wrong (ie no display) you'll be confident enough to open it up and disconnect the gpu etc. Its only a very simple example but putting the pc together is really rewarding and fun. With the amount of tutorials on youtube its really simple. Its just like expensive Lego.
