OK, I know the green screen is common, but this one is weird. Ive an old DM800 clone, possibly 4 years old. Im running Blackhole V.012. Now recently im getting a green screen, but the sound continues and the box operates as normal apart from the green screen. I can stream normally as well when the green screen appears. I thought it could be the hdmi connection on the tv, but ive ruled that out. If i unplug the power supply for an hour all is well again. It could be heat related as the box does get warm, especially as i watch mainly HD channels. I do have a laptop cooling fan running underneath it, which i have done since ive had it. I may take the lid of it this week and see if there is a build up of dust in it (Because of the fans) which may be causing problems.

    Any thoughts on this appreciated.

Without seeing the dump from the green screen it would be impossible to tell what the issue is.

It could be a corrupt image. Did you try reimaging it with a new image?

I think it was heat. I've since hoovered inside and cleaned fans. Kept the case off and so far it hasn't done it! Fingers crossed.

Have you got a hard disk in this dm800? When an internal one is put in they just never stop overheating, then again the box over heated on its own to begin with.

I had an 800hd and I swear you could fry an egg on the case.

No internal HD. I've a USB external. Its def a heat issue. The old girl is on her way out anyhow, we've had plenty of use out of her. Just need to find another enigma 2 machine the same size as her, or else another dm800 it is.......
