Not everyone makes them and 99% dont keep them but am interested to hear if you r making them or not.
Mine are 1.Get back into fitness, exercise every day in someway
2.Wake up before 6am everyday to meditate and walk the dog before work.
3.Quit boards,tv and random net surfing for a full yr,not because its bad I just waste too much of my free time and should be working on my business.
4.Develope my business to make a profit this year and move one step closer to being self employed.
5.Get a 1st in the masters and learn how to code
    6.Travel to two new countries
7.Surprise the wife with the car she wants
8.Remain on the vegetarian clean food plan and master a 1new recipe every week, eliminate yhe junk food or easy quivk food and make my lunches in advance.
9.Use my free time productively and do 1 good deed a day for others.
10.Save all spare income, become even less materialistic and give 5% of our income to causes we believe in and volunteer with.
I set myself a few tasks last year and did well until mid March then one by one I slipped up.
Goi g to give it my focus and attention this year and really try to make it all hapoen so I can look back on the year as a big step forward.
Good luck to everyone for the new year and hope your resolutions, hopes and ambitions workout.

Drink more red wine. At the moment, I'd be having a glass maybe every other month, I want to up this to a glass a week.

Earn more money - I'll be starting a new job, so that one's nearly completed for 2014 anyway.

Make more things myself. I've started knitting again, and really want to keep at it. I've finished a scarf and nearly finished a jumper, next on the list is a dress.

I got 3 houses to visit from bastards who didn't pay me for staircases manufactured and installed. Bought a chainsaw, going to cut the staircases to pieces if they don't have all the money they owe me.

September is a much better time for resolutions - that back to school feeling, a chill in the air to remind you to prepare for the winter. A few Septembers ago I resolved to spend the cold light of day part of January in a cosy little bubble, reading and thinking and writing and sleeping and not going out till everyone's hangover has gone. You can actually get a lot done that way. :)

Yeh I don't do new years resolutions. There are things I want to do, if I do them in 2014 sound, if it takes longer than that - also sound.

1: Keep up with the diet i (deliberately) started 2 weeks ago
2: Get a form of exercise in (joining an IAFL team in Jan)
3: Find the balls to ask out the woman i fancy
4: Try and find some way of saving!

All fairly achievable. Except maybe the 3rd one. She has the uncanny ability to scare the shíte out of me every time i even think of thinking about asking!

    Mine for this year:
    1. learn French;
    2. bump up at least two levels in work;
    3. get up and go shopping.

The first two might actually happen.

    Eat more, eat better.
    Make money.
    Acquire bitches.

Ask her!! Send a text right now asking if she wants to hook up for dinner over the holidays. Go on, go on, go on.

I'm hoping to maintain the status quo, things have been good now for a while and I'd just be happy to keep things going that way (I do the exercise, and nutrition bit already, am working away at studying something I enjoy with the promise of a decent wage at the end of it, things are settled and comfortable on the home and family front and I've been doing ok on the meeting new people and getting to know myself and them better over the last year, so long may it all continue)

Thinking about things to much just makes them seem much bigger than they actually are.

I am going to be much smarter with money in 2014. Although I have a well paid job I also have a bad habit of paying through the nose for stuff like phones, food, flights and hotels etc. I never seem to shop around for deals or to compare different insurance and pay full price. My mates get on to me for being stupid with money so Im going to draw up a budget to see where Im leeching cash the most and then take a leaf out of the Bargain Alerts threads here to try and save some cash..

Travel more (even if it's only down the country), lose a stone in weight, save more money, do more writing and take the stairs more often.

    - Do a few triathlons and open water swims
    - Become more frugal, I need to save way more money than I do now
    - Cut down on caffeine and sugar
    - Try and make more new friends

Wonder how many who do the cliche of joining the gym keep it up. I'm expecting the cardio machines to be hogged for the next week. Then back to the usual as per usual.

Potential Monkey, just ask the girl out for feck sake.
She's just another human being who wipes her arse like the rest of us, and if you continue to "wait a while" you might be knocked over by a massive Coca Cola truck and miss out on your chance.

Yeh - the coco cola truck driver will probably ask her out instead like and then you'll spend your life watching the two of them bouncing around in caffeine fuelled love :/

Meh. All the best things happen when you do something and then instantly wonder "Did I really do that!?!".

Tell that to the picture of me in nothing but a pair of jocks wedged up me hole on an exercise ball trying to recreate wrecking ball...

I have a plan, and most times when I stick to a plan it works out better. And I'm not very hood with rejection, I don't do things like this very often!

    1. Don't make any resolutions.
    2. Don't keep any I do make.

I've stuck to my New Year's resolutions for the last 4 years in a row, mainly because I make them achievable.

My 2014 resolution is to start donating blood, and continue donating regularly.

Currently recovering from a nasty ankle injury, once I'm back walking again, I'd like to focus more on exercise and good health.
Concentrate on making a challenging work project a success.
Spend more time with my wife and kid and less pi55ing about in the pub or watching trash TV.
Learn to cook a more varied menu.
    Save some money.
Bring my kid to LegoLand in England.
Bring the family on holiday somewhere nice and hot.
Get involved with a local coder dojo to teach young kids how to code.
Improve my own coding skills that are really dusty now that I'm in project management.
    Treat people better especially friends.
    Pick up more certifications.

But who is good with rejection? And you'll only get better with practice. :p

Don't let life pass ya by man (says she who never did make it out shopping (everything sore from Christmas excess of.. everything)).

Made a good start in 2013 with getting back to fitness, for 2014 I want to kick it up a few notches.
Walked/ jogged the mini marathon quickly enough to get into a joggers category so I'm working on jogging the full 10k this year.
Also want to continue working on being more in the moment, which i started this year. Just to focus on what I'm doing now and stop trying to do everything/ worry about everything all at once.
Do at least one significant home improvement, thinking of working on the attic.
