Hi guys, slim 20 something male here. Have a desire to build muscle and tone up and was looking for inspiration. Are there any good books or dvds that you can recommend me? I don't have the money for the gym at present so wanted to do some home exercises first as a start and then maybe progress to the gym when the finances allow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Most work outs are unisex but may have different results. In fact most of the workouts targeted at males will give females then results they are looking for quicker than the workouts that are targeted at females. Does that make sense? Anyway it's then old weightlifting v's cardio conundrum.

You can do tonnes of stuff with body weight programs to help lean up, add a little size in some areas and improve conditioning.

Do you have any weight lifting equipment at home?

Access to a park that has bars in it?

Check out the full fitness app for iPhone if you can.
    I think it's €3.99 and there's a big database of exercises
