I am looking at a particular house to buy in the new year as a rental. The house was built in the 40's and was underpinned and braced (I think that's the correct term) in the 70's the house seems fine but I would like to get it checked out if my offer was accepted.
Which profession would be best to check this out for me ? Any advice or opinions on what would be involved in a structural survey digging etc
