Ah fair enough. I'll do what I do for 9 out of 10 Late Late Shows. I'll watch something else and read this thread instead. :o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 75,447 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Your enthusiasm for starting a LLS thread is admirable, Mr. Rocks. :)

Next time, as well as kitteh and puppeh pictures, feel free to change the words of a well-known song to incorporate the guestlist. Tubs usually reveals guests on his radio show, 9 to 11am*

    *Soon to be 7 to 9am...possibly :D

During the week, I found these articles about the first ever Late Late Show on the excellent Brand New Retro website

    http://brandnewretro.ie/2012/05/29/the-late-late-girl-verona-mullen-rtv-guide-1962/

Gay used to have three co-hosts who also interviewed the guests. And the show was broadcast from 11.15 until 12.15 (the first time RTE had closed down after Midnight, that's where the name comes from). It thought it was very interesting reading.

I think I will need a glass of wine to get me through :D. This will be our last thread this year, aww! Brendan O'Carroll, what can he possibly have to say that we haven't heard a million times before?

Personally, I find 'Mrs. Brown's Boys' about as funny as permanent toothache.

    HOWEVER...

I do give him respect for his work ethic and giving generously to charity. I will be on my best behaviour tonight when he's on.

In the words of Mr. Burns, release A hound.
