Meh, I never listened to his music so this news will have no effect on me whatsoever. I never understood the damnation this guy attracts, if you don't like him, don't listen to him, simple.

You're all just a bunch of haters anyways, go back to listening to your old crappy music like Freddy Macury or Beatles. like who even listens to them anymore lol.

What annoys me about him is he acts like an entitled spoilt brat. Never been too bothered about his music because i never listen to it.

I couldn't name one of his songs even if asked at gun point. In my mind he's more famous for killing his hamster.

I solved that problem by not listening to him, I've heard his name mentioned but wouldn't know him if he passed me in the street :) maybe if you are so sick of his antics you should stop reading about them and just put him on your ignore list, simple out ;)

An admirable thing to do. Has gone up slightly in my estimations.

Good times, now we can concentrate on the serious artists of our time, like Katy Perry, Kesha and Lady Gaga.

I see people complaining about him on the internet more than I actually hear his music. It's really not that hard to avoid him.

That's a terribly written article by the way. I know it's aimed at younger people but could they not have employed someone over the age of fifteen to actually write it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,476 ✭✭✭Riddle101

Could be a publicity stunt. Maybe he might do what Hip Hop artists tend to do, when they say they're retiring. Spend a couple of years away from the limelight, then return with a new comeback album that get's to the top of the charts.

But if he does quit music forever, then good.

This is the equivalent of that person you are friends on Facebook who declares they are leaving Facebook just so they can watch their friends comment with "don't leave hun x" etc...

I think the hate he gets is more to do with his attitude than his music. The sense of self-importance and entitlement he has - spitting on fans, showing up two hours late to concerts, the whole Ann Frank fiasco, to name a few.

Any pop star that is thankless and even disrespectful to the people who have made him a millionaire many times over before the age of 21 and is completely oblivious to how lucky he is to be in the position he's in is deserving of damnation.

Oh, and I saw an interview with him on David Letterman, and he couldn't name the seven continents. So there's that.

Its way to good to be true, its just another way of selling music. Tell the kids its the last time they will see/hear an album from him and its KER CHING ! Then we will have to live through the "comeback"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,123 ✭✭✭eviltimeban

I can't wait for him to turn into Leif Garrett...

He also didn't know what "Germany" was.

Apparently if you play a Justin Bieber record backwards you can hear subliminal messages from the Devil.

But what's worse is if you play a Justin Bieber record as normal, you can hear Justin Bieber

I dont get why people get offended by stuff he does, who actually cares like I dont like his music at all but that doesnt mean people shouldnt like it, why complain about something that isnt at all relevant to you

You reminded me of Bill Hicks in one of his shows talking about New Kids On The Block: "You know if you play a New Kids On The Block record backwards, it sounds.... BETTER, yeah"

If Bill were around today I'm sure he would have a thing or two to say about Bieber's "music".
