Satellite receiver beeps when changing channels

    I have a satellite dish tuning into 19.2, perfect reception. The only issue is that when I change between some channels a loud tone burst is audible.

    Any ideas? I'm thinking perhaps the tv or the hdmi cable ?

    It might be to alert blind people to channels with Audio Description, if than exists on 19 East. This is a link about the system for UK channels.

    Televisions can be programmed so that you hear a short beep whenever you tune to a program with audio description, switch audio description on or off temporarily and highlight audio described programs in the onscreen television guide.

    There should be a menu to turn it off.

    I only no of one of hand that had a beep a technomate one, there was an option in one of the menus to turn the audio beep off, very annoying
