Just wondering can anybody advice me about the best way to deal with a groin strain. I presume it's a groin strain the inside of my thigh is a little sensitive and i have some discomfort when walking. The pain has gone down all the inside of my leg but it's nothing severe at all just a little sore. Is their any way to help heal this. I probably over done it in the gym Wednesday and the pain came on me Saturday morning and is still their. Maybe i am just tight and need to do stretching. Can anybody tell me the best way to help. I am going to leave off the gym for the week and just do some light walking and stretches. Would this help or should i just leave off doing any exercise for a few days and hopefully it will heal.

It might just be doms. It might be a strain. A couple of days rest will tell.

Also, rub Deep Heat all over the groin area...that'll help.

It'll certainly take your mind off the muscular pain anyway

Tore my groin playing footie, don't do traditional groin stretches, they will just make it worse. I got exercises from my physio to do, If any of the stuff you are doing at the gym is causing pain then don't do that exercise. I've had awful difficulty getting over my strain. You might be better off going to a physio if the pain proceeds, if it doesn't heal right it'll keep bugging you.
