The last 10lbs

    Hey all
Sorry if the same post has been done before, I'm sure it has but I have flicked through and haven't seen it.
Basically I have BMI 23, size 10-12 and happy with weight loss (I was heading for a 14 a couple of years ago so had to start exercise for the first time in my life).
Currently I do 4 or 5 half-hour Jillian Michaels workouts or kettlebell workouts off Fitness Blender a week. In the summer when it's bright in the evenings I would do 40 min run twice a week too. My weight is fine but it's just the tummy and last 10lbs I gotta shift.

Now there's no way I am going to get away with not boozing or eating a couple of mince pies over the next few weeks but in January I am being exiled down the country for college for a month and it's the perfect time to start with some food changes.
I was thinking no bread- no biccies/chocolate/rubbish etc and (argh) no booze might do the trick.

Do any of you clever people have any good tips? I'm not good at starvation or liquid-only fasts or anything. That's pretty much all I can find when I go looking on the net. I could do Atkin's if necessary I guess....

I also have a big tub of whey protein gold standard downstairs that I don't really know what to do with so if that could be used up in some sort of plan that would be cool.

    Thanks

I'm sure if you cut out wheat & sugar you will easily lose some weight (giving up wheat definitely helps the tummy pudge!) add in some weight training & you should get good results, no need for anything mad.

Plus one on the weight training. I lost 6 stone but couldn't lose the last few pounds. Weights have really helped and cutting down on stuff like wheat.

I wouldn't panic too much though as a BMI of 23 is pretty much a good place to be like! Bringing weights into your training may not make you lose 10 pounds but you'll look as if you had and be fitter which is a better result in the end!
