Looks like we'll have the best weather of the four provinces for the game, no excuses. I reckon it it be fast game and hope Sheridan/Keatley can cope with the decision making that is normally left to Murray.

Hoping for a win but would take a LBP.

I don't think either side today are as strong as the teams back then. No John Hayes now. :(

My god we gifted them a soft try from the LO, asleep for it but a few nice tries from Munster.

    Full 80 mins needed today.

I only saw highlights of that game before but always thought it was ROG who throw the lovely pass for Hurley's try!

That was one of my favourite ever Munster jerseys. Only 2 players from that starting 15 will start again today.

Lively start; we're putting them under pressure.

Possible try for Dougall, but I think there was obstruction.

    Beautiful!

    Edit: Never mind, no try.

Great start but that was blocking that the NFL greats would have been proud of

Not if he gets caught. Downey blocks a lot, the problem is he's ****e at hiding it.

True, he isn't the most subtle at it, clever tactic mind, just needs some work on the execution

Looks to me like Perpignan started those fights.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭chupacabra

I know its good that incidents are being picked out and players rightly penalized etc etc. but all this TMO usage is very excessive and ruins the game imo

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Baffling decision to yellow there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

How is O'Mahony getting a yellow card?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Rubbish yellow cards. Hooker goes after POM for no reason at all and he ends up in the bin for not throwing a punch?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

That is mad, never a yellow card for either.

Thats completely unfair on O'Mahony, he didn't do anything.

We won't see the Perpignan higher ups lodging a complaint today anyway...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,708 ✭✭✭ScissorPaperRock

That's a joke. There wasn't much in it for a start, but what was O'Mahony supposed to do but defend himself?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,718 ✭✭✭Taco Corp

If POM gets a card there then their 6 needs to go too

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,207 ✭✭✭decisions

So POM gets a yellow for being held by two perp players?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

If anyone should have got a yellow it should have been their 6, he stamped and even looks like he threw a punch. Ref just trying to stamp authority and feed his ego.

That is a bloody joke. Nothing in it. Two players binned and five minutes standing around. The TMO calls are getting to be a joke at this stage and are really being overused.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,548 ✭✭✭siochain

Video reply is getting to much. OK for try decision.

POM yellow is a load of b*****ks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Give the advantage and let them bloody maul!

Bizarre call to card either of them. Can only assume he wanted to nip the niggle in the bud.

Surely the foot stamp was the only thing that should have been sanctioned.
Can't understand his reasoning for yellows for both players with handbags.

Reckon the ref is trying to put a stop to off the ball stuff early
