Sending sweets and guinness to the USA?

Hi Folks, If i wanted to send a couple of boxes of cadbury roses, and a few cans of guinness to the US - is it safe enough to just box up and send via the post office? Cheers, Mick

As far as I am aware you cannot send alcohol to America as it will be seized by customs over there.

Have a look on the USA customs website, they will have more information .

You cant send liquid out of the country, that includes lotions and creams etc, really annoying.

Might be easier to buy them online and have them shipped direct to your intended recipients
