As of today I have submitted 1067 posts to Boards, my profile has been visited 1116 times, that is about 50 more visitors to my profile than the number of my posts. Would love to know if your profile has been visited more than the number of your posts.

Nope. I don't have many visitors at all at all.

If I'm on my phone I often click a user's name instead of their post/thread so I visit an awful lot of profiles all by a accident so I wouldn't be getting too worried about people stalking you OP :P

Sometimes when opening a thread, I hit the username by accident and find I am in the user's profile. I don't think I have ever intentionally opened a profile.

There's also 3 other 'tangatagamadda Chadda...' banned accounts.

Go to the search bar and type 'tangata', there's 4 of us. I'm being actively stalked it would seem to be.

I'd be the same as whoopsadaisydoodles though, 90% of the time when I've visited a profile it's been by mistake.

They probably see the "ophile" at the end of your username and are checking to make sure that their kids are safe.

Can't be too careful with all them "ophile's" on the internet these days.

I also have 3 friends, 1 of whom is a closed account and 1 who I had to beg for weeks to accept my friend request. Clearly that was the last friend request I sent out, a girl can only feel so pathetic.

IME, my posts get thanked a lot more when I'm more regular to my more commonly used forums. Especially AH. It is very clannish/ clubbish in that respect. If you, like me, post for a while and then stop for ages, when you return you get the 'thanks cold shoulder' no matter how witty and dynamic my... mom... says... I... am...

I don't post all that much relatively speaking but I'm OCD about staying in touch with threads I do post in. I can't say I don't notice when I get thanked and quoted but it's really an OCD thing rather than thanks-whoring.

Yeah. A lot of the replies are very formulaic and you see how particular styles of posts and references come in and out of fashion. Boards can really bring out my innate loner-ness sometimes!! When it becomes a bit of a popularity contest, I start losing interest.

Yeah it's difficult to retain interest when it gets like that, especially when posts in a particular thread become like a long list of puns, it just becomes pointless.
