Not on the advert, I'm guessing over the next two weekends there will be good offers in all the shops as they try to lure customers in.

Was in a nice restaurant in Barcelona last night and this wine was on the menu for 9.50. If that'sthe restaurant price, the Spanish supermarket price can't be more than 4 Euro.
I think we are severely ripped off on Spanish wines here.

I never order wine on the menu as a rule when restauranting i will ask for water or coffee, esp if im driving..
Yeah wine here must be a lot dearer i heard off a friend(hes young like and its an odd habit if you ask me) of mine he smokes cigars and he buys them online from italy for 30 euro a whole set of them and smokes them.
He could pay up to 200 or even 500 for a set of cigars here in ireland. They really rip you off for everything.

    No it's not.

Even if just making a coffee a bit more festive, it's still not.

Your guess is as good as mine. It's not clear on the ad.
My guess is those beer prices will be around all weekend at least.

Vouchers for one or the other in pretty much every paper on random days this month. The counter-salvo has been Tesco and Dunnes posting out similar % off vouchers (but for different amounts) to their clubcard customers as well as a clear below-cost pricewar on drink.

I presume these keg things are meant for parties and expected to be finished within the night? Or could you have one yourself at home for over the Christmas period?

keeps in the fridge for up to 28 days I think but certainly will stay good for 10 or 12 days over Christmas.

Will be picking up one or two of these anyway.

Yes - good for house parties or any get-togethers - they do take a long time to get cold, a day or so in the fridge(sometimes I've bought them pre cooled) - and per litre you are paying more than small cans - but they do go down well....

Have always found them too gassy. More froth than beer.
