    Hi there

Does anyone know of any hotels/restaurants opening for non-residents for Christmas Day lunch in Carlow or surrounding counties i.e Kilkenny, Kildare, Laois, Wicklow ?
I can only find places in Dublin but that seems a bit far to travel.

    Thanks in advance :)

I'd have thought most of the hotels in the area would be open for lunch.

it might be a nice trip over to Mt.wolsely I'd say they'll be open.

Sign of the times I guess. I'd imagine it's a welcome break for the staff though.

I'm not sure of anywhere bar an odd petrol station open on Christmas day.

    Everything shuts down.

Most of the hotels in Kilkenny serve Christmas dinner, I know Hotel KK and Newpark do anyway. You'll have to book though its very popular.
