Have looked everywhere for a decent bet on Alpha and Omega did not get a bet on .I am not on and wont back it at its price but it so well handicapped.6/4 it has opened this morning so will let it run as there is no value in that price.

    Terrible racing tomorrow
    Leicester is a joke.
That twiston Davis horse might be worth a poke in conditional novice hurdle.

But id say you'll still be backing 90% of the races haha

11/2 is a big price for Above the Law in the 6.20 Dundalk in my opinion.
Very impressive handicap debut here and is no worse off on the weights with Majestic Timeline tomorrow.(who is 9/4)
Knock Star is handicapped to beat Majestic Timeline, but Above the Law is surely open to more improvement on this surface.
Will perhaps lack race fitness but 11/2 overpriced.

Probably.., though will wait until Kempton.

I enjoy racing on that track. The stuff during the day is puke.

Not a big fan of low quality national hunt tbh.

Nothing worse than watching a crap chase and your horse doesn't travel.
I find the form holds up way better on flat.

Yeah just had a quick glance at kemton like the look of Spiritoftomintoul 6.10 currently 4/1. Stepped uo to 2mile last time and won quite well. And I like Luke Morris in the saddle.

Here's one that may do well tomorrow in the last at Dundalk.
First Friday ran well last time out at the track and had to check wide from the rails to finish strongly.
On a good mark now and I think a small e/w flutter could be rewarding.
    :-)

Trans city was out the back and ran into a wall of horses as he made his move behind Mosman Park at Dundalk a few weeks ago.Was checked and had to switch wide finishing strongly into a close up 3rd.Two extra furlongs should suit tonight and should be an e/w price.Have also backed Stynes 8.20 and Echua in the 9.20

Prince of Burma is out again today in the last at Lingfield, an apprentice race.

Had two bets. Backed Camden George at 10/1 each way at Hexham. Was once a smart horse and the handicapper has given him a big chance. Ran much more encouragingly last time and didnt seem to stay the four miles. Dropped six pounds for that this is a big drop in grade and could go well.

The other is Habesh at Dundalk who I have been waiting a long time for over hurdles. That said I thought he would be a springer in the market today, he is just one pound above his last win mark on the flat (won by 5 lengths) and he ran well last time out around here after a break and was poorly drawn. Booking of Jospeh O'Brien would suggest a big run is expected. I got the top price 8/1 this morning and there is some money around for him.

have dutched Habesh & Mad For Road in that race, both in my tracker, and bits of early money for both.

Table Forty Six out again today. It's upped in distance (which should suit) and is the bottom weight. 14/1 is a nice price for a horse that should be a good e/w shout.

    Hoof It @ 10-1

    Surely worth an interest.

His dam has 33 percent record.

    Lots of uncertainties though.

    Smoke that Thunders 14:00 9-1

    9-1 will be backed

    Lucky though.

The booking if McCoy on the Crawford horse is guidance within itself give Lucinda Russell has 2 horses running in the same race

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 256 ✭✭CueCard7

    McCoy is a gangster.

Say his cousins were laying that one!
Any fool who backs @ that price deserves it IMO

Didn't see the race but I've been of the opinion since his first run over hurdles that they're plotting Regal Encore for The Betfair ala MTOY last season. Will win a race in January no doubt before running in Betfair off nice weight when punted off the board!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 256 ✭✭CueCard7

    McManus's hobby is plotting horses.
Hence the jockey is not trying to win sometimes.

I.e corrupt- it's the way racing works.

I don't mind this but anyone who thinks otherwise has wool over their eyes.

Anyone who lauds McCoy as a hero should watch that race.

He s bent- look at the amount of less than 1/2 shots he s been turned over on for McManus in the last two months.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

It was an absolutely shocking ride by McCoy but quite obvious what he was doing! See the horse that came 3rd? His name says it all. ;)

I like Nassau Storm in 2.00 Lingfield, it finished really strongly last time out.
    4-1

    Lingfield abandoned.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Camden George has been placed over further but I don't think he got the trip today. Challenged three out and looked like he'd be involved in the finish but weakened. He may be one for next time out over 2 1/2 miles or 2 3/4s

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,908 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Palace Of Winds 12-1
    6.50 Dundalk
Has some experience behind her, hopefully shorter trip will see her get off the mark
    EW for me

    I've gone with

    Knock Stars 5-1
    Palace of Winds1 2-1
    Vector Force 3-1
    Coach Bombay 11-2

    Fourfold bet to win
    I could make history LOL

I heard from numberous people that the mccoy ride on regal encore was the worst non trier they ever seen, just watched the replay there I though it had every chance coming to the last it was within two lengths he didnt butcher it but it got pushed out and got a smack, honeyball wouldnt train a winner anyways this wont be winning any betfair handicaps or graded races.

Lot to like about Henson 9/4 in next.

    Quadrium 7-1 e/w has a squeak too.

Didn't see the race but it went very big in play (was looking at Betfair from my sick bed)

Stunning ride by Joseph on Habesh after getting chopped off on the rail and losing all momentum. I think he was told to get that home at all costs!

He got a nasty bump, thought he was going to go out through the rails. Joey done well, didn't panic.

He practically clipped heels and nearly came down coming into the straight. With that happening he must have had a fair few pounds in hand.

My God, you're in some form Urban. Not a big fan of Fundalk but had a token bet having not followed enough of your fine picks recently. Happy days. Hope you need a wheelbarrow for winnings:D

Yeah and he brings up a four timer. Not bad for a lad that can't ride, and not one of them his father's

He done very well there, settled him after the mayhem losing even more ground no panic. When I saw that confidence you felt he would win.

Think I'm just going to follow you blind from now on. You're having a serious streak. Well done, hope that's your Christmas paid for. On second thoughts though , hope it's not. Then you'll have to find another one!
