Hey, I was just wondering if anybody here does the ES course? I'm interested in it, but have not done physics, chemistry or higher maths for the leaving (I do have A1s in both higher Bio and Geo though.) I was curious as to how much of a disadvantage I'd be at?

    Thanks!

I'm geography but we spend a fair-ish amount of time with the earth science students and while it's an advantage to come in with a grounding in physics and chemistry, you'd be taking introductory modules in first year anyway that are quite general - after first year, that aspect of the course specialises more on 'physics for earth scientists' etc. So it's not essential but you'll have to be pretty diligent with those introductory modules and read up on them.
