Connacht made some very good deals the past few months tieing down henshaw, marmion, healy and bringing in clarke ronaldson will hopefully stand to them.

Connacht need to forget about the rest of the season and pretend it starts from here. Go to France looking for a win.

That's the worst that thing they could do. Mainly because as they look for the win, Toulouse will be waiting patiently in Galway and claiming their walk over.

They've just been to France and got a win.

Need to keep it up against the same team at home next weekend.

Its gonna be standing room only in the Sportsground next Saturday now after today's win !

They won in France today AK! They've to march out in Galway looking for a win, then BP against Zebre (also in Galway) that'll leave them on 18 going into week 6. LBP at Sarries and they could be looking at an away quarter.

And I am counting some serious chickens here to be fair, but that quarter could very easily be a 2 hour drive east, or a little longer up North.

Mention on the radio of bringing the sportsground up to 9,000 in time for next week. You have to make hay as the sun shines!

By my rough calculations it is approximately 933 days until Jake Heenan is eligible for Ireland.

Just in case anyone else was wondering....

Speechless…Just fantastic stuff. The Ireland New Zealand match kept going through my head at the end. In fairness to Connacht the defense and line speed was brilliant. Marmion and Henshaw were phenomenal all day. But for me Jake Heenan was the standout, what a player this young lad looks, if Ireland can somehow cap him then he could win 50+ caps easily. The loss to Sarries is the only regret now. Can look at taking them in london.

Yep, Heenan owned Dusautoir -world player of the year 2 years ago. Hard to single anyone out though, they were all incredible and it was a brilliant team effort.

That was pure porn. Henshaw, Heenan, Marmion all brilliant, but a great team performance all round. Fair play to them for keeping up the intensity too, New Zealand was going through my head for the last 5 mins but as has been said, the line speed was top notch. Thought Murphy did well when he came in too. Just unbelievable stuff. Any sort of result in Galway and who knows. No point in looking past that game just yet imo.

On a side note, I rocked up to the counter in Paddy Power and the two lads behind were asking me what in the name of jaysus made me back Connacht against Toulouse . Only had a few quid on them at 20/1, but a nice win resultant of a rush of blood to the head :D

saw that myself, himself and mcsharry are a partnership worth continuing.

Ref was terrible tonight, first half toulouse knocked it on and the guy ahead of the ball on the ground gathered it and its a knockon. circa 60 minutes for and we knock on and it becomes a penalty. You wouldnt see that kinda of crap in AIL

Ah, a few errors like that but I thought he was very good otherwise, allowed a contest at the breakdown but kept control very well. No messy scrums, no yellow cards. The TMO decision for Henshaw's try was wrong IMO but can't blame the ref for that...
