Yeah I just seen it and even from the few game we played on Naval Strike it's a HUGE difference. I know a lot of people will be of the opinion too little too late but I'd like to see EA start getting some flak for forcing the game to release before it was ready. EA forced the deadline, EA get the cash, DICE get the hassle of cleaning up
It's just nice to see the games full potential at last.

DICE are owned by EA these days unfortunately, we should shake our fists at both...

I have to admit after playing last night with a few of you, the servers were really good compared to what we've been dealing with.

Even most of the levolution went flawless without hiccups, lets just hope this quality of server can be what we can expect from now on before the next patch breaks it all again!

I thought the biggest indication of how good the server was last night came when we were playing on Langcam Dam(easily the laggiest of the vanilla maps). When the Levolution event kicked in, NOBODY EVEN NOTICED .

Ahahahahaha, I just took down a jet with my tank

Guy was making decent strafe runs on us in a round of Rush. He happened to fly over my head and I managed to hit him as he fly away, in a dead straight line for some ridiculous reason. Decided to save the footage so I hit the share button for probably the 2nd time ever. Watched it back as soon as the round was done. Footage stops just before I joined the server I forgot it doesn't save the footage live so I've got 15 minutes so me just dicking about in the menu, ha

In the last week I killed an attack chopper with a m2 slam (fluke, on Golmund Railway I had it on a pillar, he came down to get me, went too low and BOOM!)

Yesterday I roadkilled a parachuting soldier with a jet... badass! (that was on purpose and mainly because I could actually see in the jet now with no stuttering and lag. Wow, eh?)

Yeah I seen earlier that they were changing a lot of the server versions, hopefully they'll all be as smooth as they've been for the last week or so. Didn't expect to see rented servers up so soon with all the lag issues though, pleasantly surprised.

May as well mention it here and now; I understand a lot are already unhappy about how much they've spent on BF4, but how about we all chip in €2 or so and get an IRL server? We'll all be using it and it seems too much to expect 1 person to fork out that much. 20-30 of us splitting the costs wouldn't be unreasonable

yup good idea lads,we`ll set up a vote to see how many will pay,and if u want we`ll get fox boy to set the server up,some of the lads dosent come on here much but we can say it to them on game chat etc...,we all can be made admin of the servers anyways i think

No harm putting it up on our clan Battlelog page as well. Everyone is on there usually at least once a week

I have rented a server for 90 days, it's called the IRL CLAN SERVER.

I will set up a paypal link that any of you can contribute a few quid to me towards it soon, as im just setting it up.

It has an option to set it as a platoon server, however it's not showing up under servers in platoon, may need a little more tweaking.

If any of you have config idea or requests, you can post them here or contact me here or on IG.

Seems it's all set up but I'm unable to join it and others are having the same issue.

I never had a server myself on PS3 but I seem to remember joining some that restricted your loadout. You could only use US or Russian weapons depending on your team. Is something like that still an option? Can you dictate which weapons are available at all?

Just an other option for yourself Dermot, but if you have one of those O2 cards people can send the money directly to your card using their flickit system.
