It's not unhealthy to be fond of the feeling of ecstasy.

Back when I was a youngster and used to take ecstasy I did far more fun things than just sit online and post on boards.

Try going out and dancing or talking incessantly to people about nothing for a while.

    Y'know, human contact?

It's almost tolerable when you're imbibing substances.

Give it a go young fellah.

For me, there's no better feeling than the rush of a good clean pill, either on the dance floor in a place you're comfortable in, or sat in a room with other high, decent mates chewing the fat.

I'm 30 years old and gave that stuff up 10 years ago ! Your "talk incessantly" bit and your presumtion that all ecstasy users are "young fellas" leads me to believe that u are a knob.

Went to the shops on the Wednesday of all days, only was plannin on buying the newspaper as you do ya know, haha anyways and ended up buying a bag of yokes #madforthepillsyaknow.

Havent touched one in about 5 years but have taken a fair few in my time. Excellent each time for me. Does not suit everyone though. One of those to be taken in moderation or your brain will turn to mush. Special occasions, once or twice a year with friends in a secure setting = great fun

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,299 ✭✭✭✭The Backwards Man

I remember when Robyn Banks was a DJ on Atlantic 252.

We didn't need yokes to have a good time in those days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,020 ✭✭✭uch

Or for the Pre yoke takers amongst us, i used to a fondness for Strawberries

As was said earlier, if you're off your títs on yokes why are you sittin in on Boards ? go out and look at a tree or lamppost or something, and ask them how they are !

No, but it will catch up on you fairly quick if you use them too often. Keeping it for special occasions is best

No it's not. Mdma is the one drug that shouldg be legal. It's relatively harmless to the user if the purity is up scratch and all it does is make you feel amazing and dance.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,925 ✭✭✭✭anncoates

Might be a bottom feeder drug now because of the price and the low quality but was part of a great culture back in the day.

It just reminds me of sitting in a grim living room with 20 other people for days on end taking E's and drinking cider. Some people rocking their heads from side to side others with their chin in the air and people talking rubbish. I wouldn't go back if you paid me now. Good crack at the time though.

I reckon you can only do it about 50 times ever before you start messing too much with the serotonin in your brain and things could go haywire.

I'm getting too old for them now. Lots of fond memories of them though, not sure if all them memories are accurate. Talking sh1te outside night clubs to total strangers for hours.

Mondays used to be sorta blank days after the week-end. Then nightmares on Tuesday.

Still take the very occasional one but only in certain places.

nah, i was in good form before hand, it was just too much MDMA and a shock to me. got alleyway vision and all that and probably panicked a bit. grinded my teeth so bad a filling fell out.

i just decided i was never going near them after that, i'll stick to alcohol.
