    Much like the previous What's on in the City? thread, the same principles apply.

    Here you can notify others of things; events, happenings, concerts, good restaurants, table quizzes, fundraisers, classes, for the month and following months. Any events pertaining to later months will be carried over until the event is over.

    A few rules, however;
    You have to have 200 posts or more to post, or >1 years on boards.
    Tell us a little about the event - posting a flyer will not do and will count as spam.
    Once an event has been posted in this thread don't repost it - no bumping or reminding of events either.
    Old events, too much chat, spam or topics that don't belong will be (re)moved.

    Again, this is for December. Hope that's okay.

    Dublin-based Irish language drama society, Aisteoirí Bulfin, are bringing their show, LaraeDó, to Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe for one night only, the 14th of December. A great chance to try out your Gaeilge and see a fun-filled musical comedy at the same time! This show is currently playing in Dublin and has had a full house every night. Script is by Aodh Ó Domhnaill and the show is directed by Barry Barnes.

    Here are the details:
    Venue: An Taibhdhearc, Middle Street, Galway
    Date: 14th December
    Time: 8 pm
    Tickets: €15 (students / OAP €12)
    Description of show:
    Based in Texas in the 1800s, LaraeDó presents to us a young man from the East who has decided to head to the Wild West in search of adventure and ‘something a bit different’. And that’s exactly what he gets! He finds himself in Fitzies saloon in the town of LaraeDó where he meets LaraeDó’s greedy rancher, preacher, wild Indians and saloon girls. Some of them are looking for a fight. Some are looking for romance. All are looking for drinkin’, singin’, and general mayhem …
