Android equivalent to ipod touch

is there a decent android equivalent to the 32gb ipod touch (5th gen). If it's to be a (disabled) phone, I'm assuming the Moto G is the best option? It's for an 11 year old girl. Apparently, the blue ipod touch is the only acceptable device in the universe. However, if I can't get that as a refurb, then Santa had better…

Samsung do a galaxy series personal media player. Just Google Samsung galaxy pmp. But yeah at £129 the moto g is great value, I just picked one up yesterday.

Carphone warehouse are selling 32 GB 4th gen Ipod Touch's for €149. Older model but still pretty good value. More info:

I know...kind of funny but the sound quality from Cowon gear is stunning. I had an Ipod touch and an older Cown player and the difference was quite marked.

You do need a decent set of earphones though.

If she doesn't already have a phone then just get her the moto g. Then when she's allowed have a phone you can just buy her a sim card rather than a whole other device.

There seems to be a hole in the market for cheap pmp's for kids who aren't old enough for phones and who want something more portable than a tablet.
