I just wondered if anyone knows of a good Food book that outlines different foods/ingredients and the benefits they offer,
    Eg vitamins, proteins, calcium etc?
I'm particularly interested in mainly vegetables, nuts, pulses etc,
A friend has recently become a vegetarian and I'd like to get a book for a gift.
    All help appreciated.

I've moved this to the Nutrition & Diet forum, you're more likely to get helpful replies here.

    Moved from Food & Drink.

I think I have seen one in ebay before. Not sure of the title though...

Easy read, covers nearly everything, alphabetical so easy to jump in and out of.

I know this thread has already been moved, but I think you might have better luck in the Vegan and Vegetarian forum.
