  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,318 ✭✭✭Absoluvely

It's worth €300 and it's a misprice and will be cancelled.

    I ordered 3.

I doubt it tbh, they'd probably be losing over €200 per processor

How long before the legal experts come along telling us they have to sell it at that price, as offer has been accepted and payment made and bla bla bla contract bla bla

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,401 ✭✭✭Nonoperational

There's about a 0.01% chance of it being honoured.

Feck, I forgot to apply the 3DIT discount, ended up paying the full €32.55 :(

Edit - any chance OP could delete this thread or remove the link?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭bromley52

As a slight aside, I take it I would need a new mobo? Currently running an older I7.

How long before you have disappointed "customers" coming on here bitching that pixmania have to hold up their end of the bargain and that they will be contacting the small claims court.

If you think €32 is a bit on the pricey side, you can get it for under €25 if you pay in sterling: http://www.pixmania.co.uk/processor/intel-intel-haswell-core-i7-4770k-processor-socket-1150-bx80646i74770k/21381657-a.html

man I despise people that order more than they actually need. What ever extremely small chance of pix accepting their mistake and losing out 200 euro per cpu has gone up in smoke with the idiots order numerous cpu's. Greedy ****ers

There has been companies like Razer excepting they made mistakes and were actually extremely sound and just took it on the chin

It's actually not even pixmania, it's a 3rd party seller using pixmania as a marketplace. They would probably go out of business if they honoured this.

You wouldn't have gotten it anyway. From the T&C's which you agreed to:

"We would like to inform you that if an obviously incorrect price appears on our website (a price that is clearly too low, for example), and for whatever reason (IT bug, human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled, even if it has been initially validated."

    :(

Maybe the €32.55 was a special sale price, and now all the processors on sale have been sold so the price is gone back up automatically.............right?? RIGHT???? :(

now to wait for the refund :(

There's a chance PixMania will honour it and then there's the more than likely chance that they won't. Guess that does sort if seem like I'm boasting... Well trust me I'm not... Have fun in shītty Ireland :P
Be great if we all got these.

The UK website still has the £20 price listed.

And you are a prime reason why people should not post such misprice alerts! Absolutely no chance of this being honoured due to greedy ars$holes ordering excessive quantities.

Irish site is now up to over 300 but just bought 1 from the UK for 20 pounds. Now to go check if my motherboard can use it.

Yeah it seems as though the UK price is still the same so maybe nobody's been buying it there and the price hasn't changed? My motherboard is AMD so I'll have to get a new one if it does get honoured.

Never going to happen now due to the excessively greedy feckers on this thread.

Well my i3-2100 uses a 1155 so I would need a new motherboard too. let me know if any motherboards go up for 20 pounds.

    This ^^
I hate when people abuse all these miss prices to try and make a quick € off eBay or the likes.

Here are the best misprices that are still active:

    Irish site
    UK site

    Remember two things:
    1. Order as much as you can to give yourself the best chance of getting one.
    2. Contact First4Technology as soon as possible to find out if they're honouring it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 704 ✭✭✭LukeS_

Ordered 10 from .com using my CC directly.

Ordered 5 from .ie using PayPal. If even one came I'd be happy. :P

Thanks for this but I highly doubt they'll bother to honour it taking such a hit and all.
