A few protesters had signs in the background as a fella was been interviewed, nothing bad just the usual burn the bondholders.

Q the presenter saying we will have to come back as there is idiots behind you.

Didn't know it was idiotic to voice your opinion and protest. Typical rte.

A bit surprised at Brian Dobson to be honest. They weren't shouting, just protesting as everyone has a right to do. Waiting to see if there is an apology coming but I doubt it. Very unprofessional IMO.

It would be more in Dobbo's line to learn how to pronounce foreign words (names, place names etc) correctly rather than mangle them as he usually does.

(1) He's anchoring the main news programme in the country, not some Ballymagash local radio news slot.

(2) He gets €200k a year for reading the f*#king news and he can't even do that right.

It doesn't matter whether he protesters are right or wrong, what matters is that it is not the job of the state broadcaster to label peaceful protesters as "idiots", they are supposed to impart the news without bias, not tell the audience who is or is not worthy of support/sympathy.

Fair enough for the OAPs who have nothing better to do, they have little other options available to them. Instead of protesting about things you can't change and barely understand (not a swipe no one but a professional in these areas would) re-evaluate your life, re-train and go on the hunt. Things are getting better and it's not the governments responsibility to provide for you. Stop looking for someone else to blame you are in charge of your own life.

Your "country" doesn't own you a living. If you are unhappy with your life then only you can change it. Protesting about things you can't change will only make you more frustrated.
