HKC fault

I have a HKC Securewatch alarm installed the last nine years. Last night it went off three times, at 1.30, 4.30 and 6.30am. And the only message it gave was 'tamper'. Any ideas what this could be. Was someone at it, or is there a fault somewhere that I need to have checked out?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

There is either a faulty device, a loose lid on a device or a bad connection on that zone. Check all the sensors visually first to see if there is anything obvious.
After that, your best bet is to check the resistance on that entire zone..
