    Hi everyone ,
I am looking for PT in leixlip/maynooth /clondalkin or surrounding areas . I am mainly looking for a personalised programme that would guarantee results if followed. Price is not a main concern as long as the trainer is good. I am female so I would prefer a female , but if the trainer is good I really don't mind gender.
    Thanks

John Brennan does all that. He's at Finesse Studio, main street, Maynooth. Studio no. is 01-5054584. It's beside the credit union. I trained with him all through 2011/12. Got me on the right track.

I've mentioned Sphere Fitness in Maynooth Business Park a few times on here.

If you follow their instruction the results will follow. The emphasis is on healthy eating with detailed how to...etc while providing you with detailed programming.

Warehouse style gym catering for newbies and advanced. You will have people who have never lifted a weight before and guys who play rugby in AIL.

Maybe so, but is it personal or just a conveyor belt of people?

I hope everyone sees this for what it is.

And for the record I've only heard good things about Sphere.

I don't know John Brennan or anyone who uses Finesse so, I can't comment and, any comment would only be hearsay.

I've been in Sphere about a year. I'm not sure what you mean by describing it as a conveyor belt. Your wording suggests derogatory.

Like any gym, there are seasonal users. There are also people who use it for pre-season or, to learn how to use weights and about programming. They then go away and do their own thing. Then you have the people who are serious about what they do and how they train.

Personally, I was someone who had become quiet unfit after four years of doing sweet FA. Prior to that I was heavily involved in rugby and GAA. Within 6 months of hard training, I became as fit, strong and fast as I considered myself ten years ago. I thoroughly enjoy what I do at Sphere. I find myself lurking in this forum, following the main posters here, and doing my own research. I'm becoming competitive (with myself) about what I do and what I'm learning.

With regards to Personal; there is personal training available. I used it until I felt comfortable training on my own in terms of technique etc. Also, the guys are constantly moving around the facility ensuring people are using the correct technique and providing instruction where needed. It's very much a hands on approach.

Sphere recently had Phil Richards giving a talk. Regrettably,I missed it.
