    Teams

    MCFC:
Costel, Zabaleta, Clichy, Demichelis, Nastasic, Yaya Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Nasri, Aguero, Negredo

    THFC:
Lloris, Walker, Vertonghen, Dawson, Kaboul, Paulinho, Sandro, Lennon, Lamela, Holtby, Soldado

Guidetti makes the bench for City, Adebayor for Spurs.

Not at all optimistic about this, could see us getting absolutely destroyed. Even though it'd leave our title hopes in a real mess I'd probably take a draw right now.

Home win for me. Can't see anything else. Spurs have been unremarkable so far. City are just too good at home.

Townsend finally dropped, England's great hope is nothing special IMO.

Demonic grin on Pellegrini's face. Spurs in trouble.

    Such a tackle!

This match has far exceeded my expectations. Brilliant game so far, end to end stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

    Great tackle to be fair.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

Sandro is such a beast. Dat tackle though.

Aguero like an NFL running back there, stiff arm :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

Demechelis is a real weak link in that defence. I'd be targeting him as much as possible.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

Lamela has been quite wasteful. Giving up possession far too easily.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

    GET IN!!!!

    Og Lamela?

Edit: Sandro own goal. Massive job for Spurs now.

All the space in the world for Aguero. Disgraceful defending.

This has been quite unlike Spurs so far.

    Spurs suck

Holtby and lamela are doing nothing out there, city look dodgy at the back but very lively up front

City's pressuring off the ball has been excellent.

Rout. Shut up shop or it gets embarrassing.

    Too easy. Kun, 3-0.

    I really do hate Aguero!

    He's phenomenal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

So Spurs brought in all these great players then?

    That's going well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 757 ✭✭✭colly_06

    Might see Guidetti afterall

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

Didn't expect a first half like that. Spurs defense has been incredibly generous. Not too impressed with them going forward either.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 12,548 Mod ✭✭✭✭Amirani

Spurs have been the disappointment of the season for me, by quite a distance. This is beyond bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

Its times like this that I understand why they have their own forum :P

Suarez and Aguero in the same team would be handy enough. I'd say over the season they will be the top two.

Wow. Spurs are just useless today.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

4-0 how come City are so good at home and so pants away? (and why are Spurs suddenly useless?)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

For all the players they bought from the Bale money there's just no spark amongst them, the type that Bale offered. Soldado wasted altogether playing up on his own.

4-0 now. That defence has been catastrophic today.

    smashing goal that

Some of this City passing and play are just absolutely sublime.

    Embarrassing.

Great pass after a great move, more pls.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,336 ✭✭✭HalloweenJack

Toure is a beast. Great to look up and pick out Aguero when he seemed to be about to fall over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

    AGUERRROOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Sorry for the delay, was watching the rugby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,027 ✭✭✭✭klose

90% of teams would kill for spurs midfield options and they're still getting dicked on.
