Need Some Diet Suggestions

    Hi guys,

I'm a Leaving Cert. student looking for some healthy lunch ideas.

My diet for the majority of the day is pretty boring and unvaried so I'm looking for some easily prepared foods I could bring to school.

I have a healthy breakfast at about 8:20am consisting of cereal and a boiled egg. Then I'm in school from 9am until 7pm as I do study after school. I've been bringing sandwiches mostly but have veered away from those recently as I find they are causing me to belch excessively. I've started eating other breads recently and the belching isn't as persistent. Other than that I bring some nuts some days and maybe a few biscuits.

Basically I'm looking for some healthy foods I could bring to fill that ten hour school day. I could potentially do with some foods that would help me gain wait but that's not a necessity.

Apologies if this is too vague, any suggestions appreciated.
