    Any fancies?

I see Gary Carroll is over in Kempton for one ride on Cullentry Royal, with a new trainer now 6/1 its priced up in the 7.00pm race

Blessington of Gosdens might be worth a bet at 4/1 in kempton too if you forgive his last run

That brother to War Of Attrition is running in a handicap at Fairyhouse aswell PENCILHIMIN in the 2.45,probably need the run but he could be well handicapped and very unexposed.

Thought Tullius in the listed race was the bet of the day at 11/4 but might keep my money for a big fancy on Thursday.

Josie S and B won a bumper on her racecourse debut and hinted at ability in maiden hurdles. Backed her on her handicap debut lto and travelled well traded 6/4 from a big price but found nothing. Maybe a bridle filly but could be a nice back to lay at Wexford

I see Mollys a diva is going hurdling tomorrowat Warwick, she was a smart bumper mare winning the list mares race at Sandown, ground was probably too quick at Aintree,Seem to remember she ran on heavy? 2/1 on bf overnight she faces our pollyana who won an fairyhouse bumper I think

the 2.50 is a cracker of a match between the king horse GONE TOO FAR and hobb's GARDE LE VICTOIRE,the hobbs horse beat regal encore in aintree and gone too far has form behind oscar rock looks a straight match both will be 11/8ish each imo.

Ally Cascade Ally Cascade Ally Cascade

Father Jack should follow up too, he won with loads left in the tank and the 7lb rise shouldnt stop him.

    Nice double :)

All the money for JPs horse. I was kind of leaning towards the Hobbs runner but the money coming could be significant.
Might have a bet if he goes to a crazy price 5/2 perhaps.

Famous Ballerina 1.45 Fairyhouse is the only bet for me today. Chased home a progressive horse last time that was punted. One of the few in form and is well in. 3/1 is fair.

I fancied Gone Too Far at the early prices but have missed the boat

Will leave the race alone now

Looks a match alright. I was really impressed with Garde La Victoire last time out in Aintree. He put regal encore away quite easily and he has since gone in to frank the form.
It's hard to know really I was planning on just watching it but am getting tempted now at the prices. It's hard to back against the shrewd money though.

Yeah having watched the replay the hobbs has travelled easy into the straight at aintree didnt jump great but still won as he liked I thought,I heard people crying about the ride on the 2nd but it wasnt good enough to go by imo,jp has horses with hobbs so he could have been given the go ahead to lump on the king horse but at the prices ill go with Garde le victoire, the fav wasnt as impressive last time.

Nimety 16/1 7.30 Kempton. When pricing this race I had Nimety 6/1.His first run on the all weather last time out was nothing to write home about maybe getting used to the surface. The previous run catches the eye where he was beaten 1 3/4 L when 10lb wrong at the weights in a valuable class3 race in Hamilton.Down in grade today and back to his proper distance 16/1 is crazy. In the 6pm I have Mersad 10/1 currently 9/4 and had Fiftyshadesfreed 9/4 and is 3/1.

Thats the yoke of Charles byrnes that he was going mad over the first day it ran in Naas it ran on like a train it was supposed to be strangled out the back :pac: owner of elliots told my mate moonshine lad would win today.

Nice handy one for Carberry in his first ride back at Fairyhouse.

Had a small each way on Josie S and B in the next and left a lay in running at 5s

Hard to fancy Red Road today.

Running back quick enough and not like Charles to show his hand with the money early doors.

Not mad about the head carriage either.

Merlin's Wish looks absolutely made for this long trip(4m).
2/1 is about the price I wanted.

Backed Moonshine Lad in the next, did it nicely on bumper debut showing a good attitude.

Don't think it was a foregone conclusion that Moonshine Lad would have won. Most likely winner alright but The Housekeeper certainly found plenty after the former came down.

I think The Housekeeper could turn out to be a lovely horse as well. She's a full sister to Charlie Londsdon's very decent Hazy Tom and travelled very well on her last two starts at Limerick before not really finding. Whether it was the hood or perhaps a wind op over the summer that allowed her to finish off her race I don't know but I thought she did it very well after Moonshine Lad's mishap.

Looks like the brilliant Harry Kelly has got another nice horse on his hands. Fast becoming one of my favourite trainers and one who is surely going to go on to bigger and better things in the near future.

My mom had a horse with him (never saw the track, not good enough) but his training fees are incredibly reasonable.

Garde Le Victoire looks a monster of a horse, ploughed through the last two and still won easily. Looks to have some engine.

Really positive vibes from the yard about Quiet Warrior in the 5.00 at Kempton. Had a small wee pssssst about it, so a small EW play for me.

Definite after timing but as soon as I heard choc was up on JPs horse I went in at 2/1. Looks a nice prospect alright.
I wouldn't right the fav off either yet. Still looked quite immature and green.

Ya the backers are still piling in on betfair. Only SJ and Bet365 have the bumper priced up for which he is 25/1. I might see if i can get something on towards the end of the race although i dont like antepost this far out.
Already thinking about the champion bumper.. The joys of having a day off and bored on a wednesday ha.

Gone 20s now with Stan James. Needless to say i didnt back him. But was a nice debut performance. I would have preferred he sent him on further out but thats patrick's style i guess..

Was actually surprised rossom hadnt tipped up Sirius Prospect and was expecting him to tip him up today.
I hope he had him backed. He has followed him a few times this year. Was a nice price to freely available at 10/1 for most of the day.

Haven't seen the race but the 2nd horse was an expensive 3yo. Hard to weigh up bumper form at this time of year

Black Hercules is another who has a big reputation. Was given an entry last weekend but didn't run.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,570 ✭✭✭MyStubbleItches

God I feel sick and have to share it. Had a fourfold on Jim Crowley today. First one lost by a neck so I forgot about it. Other three won. Also won on two others but didn't have them backed.

Its worth having a gander at it. Looks a nice type, big horse will definitely jump a fence nicely.
Not sure what to make of it really. Patrick looked after him the whole way around until the final furlong and shook him up then and he went clear very quickly. Seemed to respond fairly quickly to which is always good. Would be interested to hear what you make of it?
