    Hi All,

I am a final year Business Studies student. Along with some engineers I am completing a project to create a new product. Our idea is based on helping manual wheelchair users in everyday life, by making uphill movement easier. We would be very grateful to anybody who can respond to the following questions.

    1) Do wheelchair users get frustrated with everyday obstacles (such as hills, ramps, inclines, steps) and the energy you use to overcome them?

    2) Do you require any/much assistance in uphill movement?

    3) Do you use currently use any products to aid you in uphill movement?

    4) Would you consider using a wheelchair attachment to aid you in uphill movement?

    5) If yes, what would you be willing to pay for such a product?
    Between: €0-100
    €101-150
    €151-200
    €200+

Any feedback will, of course, be treated with the greatest care and respect.

    Many Thanks,
    Stardollz

    1) Do wheelchair users get frustrated with everyday obstacles (such as hills, ramps, inclines, steps) and the energy you use to overcome them?

I have no idea if such a generalisation could be made

    2) Do you require any/much assistance in uphill movement?

    Not much and seldom

    3) Do you use currently use any products to aid you in uphill movement?

    No
    4) Would you consider using a wheelchair attachment to aid you in uphill movement?

I would look at the product but whether I would consider using it would depend on a lot of factors including a full description of the product and its usage.
    5) If yes, what would you be willing to pay for such a product?
    Between: €0-100
    €101-150
    €151-200
    €200+

That would surely also depend on the product offered and its functions/benefit/perceived value for money etc.
