Australian CV Format

    Hi all

    I am just wondering if anyone has a copy of a sample Oz Cv that you maybe able to send me?
    I've googled them but there seems to be lots of fifferent formats.

    Does there tend to be much difference from the Irish formats?

    There really is no Australian CV format. I've been getting CV's for 5 years (in IT) and they are all different.
    First page: a little about you, inc visa status
    next 2-4 pages of work history.

    Get rid of your hobbies, local GAA references, any leaving cert results etc.
    Just keep it to the point.
    E.g. if going for an IT job, don't tell me your summer job was in a bar in london, I really just want the IT parts.

    Thanks a mil, will keep tbose tips in mind. At the moment my CV is the typical 2 page format with no personal statement at the start so good to know that extra material can be included
