Has anyone experienced an allergy to greek yoghurt ,

Have been eating a lot of it , like 1/2 to 1/4 of a tub a night and have started getting gunky eyes with itchness and puffyness ( I dont have hay fever normally)

I havent eaten it in a few days and seems to be gone , maybe eating less would do the job

Done a bit of research and it suggest that eating loads of it is a build up of caesin and the body fighting it

any one else with something similar

Have bought some natural yoghurt to see if it same , but would prefer greek :(

Is it actual greek yogurt your eating or greek style?

    What brand?

If something gives you gunky eyes I'd go to the doc.

Well then that blows your casein theory out the window.

    Go to the doctor.

At a guess I would say you're having an allergic reaction to it but I'm not an expert.

I suffer from a lot of allergies myself, including a lot of food allergies, so much so that I now carry an epi pen. The symptoms I would have include itchy, running and puffy eyes, itchy ears, itchy throat, swelling etc. Get yourself to your GP and get this checked out. It may be as simple as taking antihistamines or it could be a more serious allergy.
