Raw goes country tonight live from Nashville with the final show before SS (which could have a poor buy rate given the card so far)

Its an awful card so far.

I used to love back in the day when a card was already confirmed about 3 weeks before the show. Especially SS, i used to love seeing who was paired with who on the teams. Its an awful build up to it this year, they literally don't know whos going to be used or wrestle which makes me not bothered as i think most of the card will be filler.

The could of easily had a 5 team match with the GT-YES team plus the Usos and Miz versus the Wyatts and the Shield

Used to love the build up to the rumble as well as they named superstars who would compete in or debut in it. I remember seeing that Vader was debuting and I couldnt wait to see it.

Undecided on if I should stay up tonight or not.

The obvious match was to do the six on six that they teased at the end of Raw last week. They may still do that but to say its has being left a little to late is an understatement. They need a monster Raw tonight because the current card is dismal and will totally flop.

Surprising they left it so late, previous Survivor Series have flopped before because of lazy booking and they are coming of a very poorly drawing Summerfest.

Ah well sure they know best!

Don't. I've found Raw so much more appealing with the fast-forward option lately.

I always feel like i made the wrong decision when i stay up.... too many ads and a knack of tuning in to a bad episode have made me watch it the next day.

I cant remember the last time i stayed up and enjoyed it.

If I dont stay up, I only watch AJ and then turn it off. Staying up is the only way I'll watch more than that.

Last few weeks, you'd have missed nothing. To summarise, Big Show is super tough, Wyatts, super tough, Cena superman tough. Everyone else, not so tough.

I'll be devastated if we don't see The Honky Tonk Man or Mickie James tonight.

Id be surprised in James will appear. HTM though could be a possibility.

I have thoughts of him now in the 2001 rumble in my head, great cameo there.

Think he was on Raw recently doing a skit with 3MB. Really want to see him smack Miz with his guitar tonight.

Would love a repeat of this

Cena and Orton to do a tribute to it.

Actually, Randy would still manage to make that dull.

Bit of trivia regarding slightly unrelated to tonight's RAW, today marks exactly a year since The Shield debuted

The 12 man tag match should be brilliant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

12 man tag that should have happened at the PPV is happening tonight.

After Triple H talks for about 45 minutes :pac:

So they have the 12 man tag match tonight instead of Survivor Series. Sure, that makes plenty of sense.

That wasn't bad from Orton, in fairness.

Funny, we were talking about Maddox's in ring ability earlier and now he's facing Orton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 229 ✭✭TheBantam

Maddox beats Orton and become number one contender. Yesssss!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,804 ✭✭✭A Brad Maddox Guy

I'm backing Maddox for this one :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

    Also, poor AJ.

Have a feeling she will be losing to Vickie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,533 ✭✭✭Jester252

I would love to see the deal breaker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 229 ✭✭TheBantam

Are we meant to know he's a wrestler? Or is he just meant to be a gm and have no wrestling experience in kayfabe world?

Orton forgot the table wasnt set up to break apparently. The middle monitor is usually missing when it's going to be broken.

    Come on Big E!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Hoping for a new champion here. Either way, cant see Axel winning. New champ or a DQ finish for a Survivor Series rematch.

Was just wondering what the point was. Just use the normal wrestlers instead of wheeling out the legends to talk shite for a couple of seconds at a time.

WWE are paying respect to fans like me who wait for rematches on tv the next week after a PPV by cancelling a match then doing it before the PPV :pac:

Bret what did you think of that last match? :D

I wonder if this is the end of the Axel push? He badly needs Heyman so splitting them cant be good for him. Reckon Big E takes the gold, Axel hangs around for a bit so that Lesnar can murder him upon his return.

Ah deadly :D:D Gwan Big E.
